I'll hold my hands up... I spent 5 minutes before I started typing this trying to think of an amusing and quirky headline that didn't seem too obvious.

So in order to inspire me to think of something a little bit more random and clever, I went to watch the trailer again... it was halfway through that I realised that this game may not have been worth that much effort so I went with something simple.

Nier looks like a poor man's Devil May Cry. Harsh, but true. We expect a lot more of the hack n' slash genre these days after the amazing Bayonetta kicked off the year.

To be perfectly honest, the last thing that Nier himself says in the trailer sums it up for me. Note to Square Enix: make better trailers.
