Man. I want almost all the games shown. Most excited for Watch Dogs.
I'm kind of disappointed in the controller still. Microsoft and Sony should really come to terms with the controllers. Allow each other to have models like the other console.

I said "OH SHIT" out loud when they showed that. That's a bad "OH SHIT" by the way. It looks like the Playstation Store. If that's the new PS4 GUI, I'm not sure I want one. If there's two things that can be said about the new Playstation Store, it's that is utterly utterly utterly slow and extremely unorganized. If they're basing PS4's GUI around that coding... I don't want a console that's super slow and hides my stuff from me. |

@#9 Agreed about that menu. I'm sure I'd get used to it considering I'd primarily use the PS4 to play games, not look at the menu. But still, I like the XMB. Its not the best GUI, but with a little optimization and little improvements, it would be the best GUI. Its straightforward to look at, functional, and clean. Hate these messy metro style interfaces that are so popular for some reason.
Still need to see more about the PS4 though. We just don't know enough yet. |

| @9 Yep, same here. If that's their planned interface, then people need to speak up and tell Sony that shit isn't going to fly. As much as I hate it, I can live with all the social integration bullshit, but if they build the entire interface around this social metro-looking bullshit...my God, I really don't have words for how angry I'll be. It'll be as amazing as Windows 8 on a desktop computer. |

I must be the only one that kinda likes the metro look... I mean, it could definitely use some improvement, since my favorite part of the XMB is album organization.
But I mean, I think the new Store is only as slow as it is because of the teeeny tiny bit of processing power of the PS3. With the vastly improved hardware on the PS4, it could be incredibly smooth and beautiful. They did push immediacy in the announcement yesterday after all.
I think between now and launch, they'll have developed a very sleek and efficient GUI for us to use. |
