DmC: Vergil’s Downfall DLC Comes in at 3-5 Hours Long

DmC’s first expansion pack, Vergil’s Downfall, comes in at around 3-5 hours long.

In the add-on Dante’s brother Vergil is trapped in a strange alternate dimension with all-new environments. None of the main game’s stages are reproduced or repurposed. Vergil is controlled in a similar manner to Dante, with light and dark attacks, although in this alterna-world, he is stripped of some of his powers.

Apparently, the DLC features animated motion comic-like cut scenes, as opposed to the previous in-game animations.

DmC: Vergil’s Downfall is out in February and will cost around $8.99. It's free for some pre-order customers.

	Not a fan of the price... But I'll just have to justify it like I do with every game/DLC. You can spend about the same amount to see a movie that's a quarter in length comparatively. I do the same with games, too, based on price. So, $60 divided by $7-8.99, and that's how many hours you need to spend with the game to justify buying it.

	So really you pay $9 for another 1-2 hours (devs like to embellish the playtime by at least 2x) of a crappy game that nobody bought. At least it is free for those who were interested enough to preorder it... I bet they kicked themselves for wasting that money. This is a bargin bin game, should have been $40 at launch and featured cooler characters, a better story and less Justin Bieber.

	price for this dl is a bit high, but we'll see if it's worth it and wtf is with the rustig bieber comparison ?? don't like the game? deal with it, there are those that do like it!

	@5 Ask someone at Gamestop for one...if you ordered it from them. My receipt is still sitting here in front me. I almost threw it away as well. I'm a little excited to play as Vergil.

	Pass. I have DMC3, thanks. But with the latest patch that attempts to fix this broken game it has graduated from never buy to possible buy for $10 or less.

	I've no interest in the game personally but we need more DLC like this, extra story with more length. Harley Quinns Revenge was good but I wish it was longer.

	Comic book cutscenes URGGGGGG! I loved the graphics and love game cutscenes more! I hope this isnt voing to be like infamous (although i love infamous) dmc franchise always had great cutscenes!

	Wow that's not bad length wise seeming the main game was less than 7 hours lol. I don't think I can get the DLC though unless I get an Asian PSN card which is a lot if work.

	Whats wrong with the price? O.o really what do people want, they have made new areas and a new character, street fighters selling costumes for characters that if you buy all it will cost way more than this and they give next to nothing, some people are way too stingy, and people who arent interested in the dlc ...why are you here? Just to bash it and put off potential buyers?? I personally welcome the new dlc and hope it can deliver, if it doesnt and Ive paid for it then maybe ill bitch and whine a bit but till then Im happy to know that they are putting effort into expanding the game as opposed to charging 4$ for dante in a tutu.
