| Stop being faggots Capcom and just give the die hard fans what they want: a survival horror game! Not an absolute bombastic cluster fu*k! aka Resi 6 |

Capcom doesn't care about our opinions they care about money. "Resident Evil 6's aim was to be appealing to a wide variety of people" means they want money and money only. If they cared about our opinions, they would've listened to the many fans who were disappointed with RE5. Instead they made a worse RE6 |

They reboot everything else to the point of it being ridiculous ... But they can't reboot one of the few things that desperately NEEDS a reboot? I would absolutely love a good RE reboot. |

The fans complain that Resident Evil is no longer horror and they don't like the recent installments. RE4 is the most critically acclaimed in the series and RE5 is the biggest selling. Why would Capcom go back now? @4 Do you really think that a Resident Evil reboot would be any good? Rebooting the first game or the second would just cement those entries as action-orientated as well. |

| @3 Im sorry, but I got to defend it. I think RE6 is a good game. It doesn't follow the traditional RE style that fans are used to, but it's not supposed to. Like Masachika said, RE6 goes for variety and I believe it is a worthy sequel to the RE Franchise and WAY BETTER than RE5 (But not superior to RE4). In the end though, I can understand why people were disappointed. Re Revelations for me, is by far, the closest were going to get with Old School RE combined with New School RE. You can still hate the game if you want, but for what it is and for what it was going for, I think Capcom did a good job. (Although there are a few personal things that I would have improved a lot). |

| After 5 and 6 idgaf. I think I'm done with them. I didn't think it could get much worse than 5 but damn it if they didn't pull it off. |

Don't care, after hall it's half half here: RE 1-2-3 were survivals, RE 4-5-6 were actions. And besides chris shitty call of campaign, RE6 was a blast, enemy design was top and the game fun. |

@5 Rebooting doesn't necessarily mean remaking the original. It means starting over. It's been done with plenty of games. Starting the series over with survival horror gameplay and not 3rd person shooter action gameplay could be awesome. There's no reason they can't reboot the series with a new storyline. The series has already been all but killed anyway. So they can keep making bad action games or try rebooting it. What is there to lose? People obviously don't care for the direction it's gone lately. |

This is one of the reasons I lost my love for gaming. Games aren't classics anymore like back in the day. All these new games are rushed games that are 70% completed and they sell it to us. While they patch up the game for a few months after it. These days it's all about money. Quantity over quality... *shakes head* p.s. Konami please bring us Metal Gear Solid 5. |

This proves that Capcom won't be making any Survival Horror game in the future. Dramatic Horror -.- yeah sure full of action. |

| I think Capcom should start over and make a true survival horror game, i would like to see ZombiU ported over to the PS3. With a different name i bet it would be a hit on the Playstation a true survival horror. Unlike Resi6 & Deadspace3 going more action. |

the staff of Capcom does not go back on the Resident Evil series because it is easier to make money with inferior products. not have the balls to create a game with mechanical intelligent ...... you know just make games where you shoot and that's it. Give us back the real resident evil, we saw at the end users who have to pay. |

| @6 I think RE6 is a below average, action, co-op game which got RE6 name slapped on it by Capcom because they wanted to sell more copies. Can you really say that you would have bought and liked this game if it didn't have RE name on it? |

| That's ok Crapcom, the Dead Space games have been filling the void your RE games left. After playing RE 5+6 I, can see why it'd be very difficult to go back to the series' roots. It is nothing like it used to be. |

| @19 For what it is, Yes. Compare the game to RE 5. Look at it from that perspective and you can see for those who would enjoy this game more. (The improvements and what not) Compare it to RE Revelations or the previous games (Excluding Operation Raccoon City) Then RE6 is a let down and I understand why. What I want to establish is the fact that RE6 is entertaining, it's fun and people should play it. But of course, it has departed from it's roots and it's not what some fans want. So for the last time, you got to view it from different perspectives to see how good and disappointing the game is. If you want my personal opinion: I give it a 6/10 to a 6.5/10. |

does anyone else remember when re6 was first announced, they said it would take 4 years to come out, and would be a total reboot of the series, i guess at some point they figured "ah sod it, let's just go for money". I do still like re6 but certainly not for the reasons i love the early resident evil games/series, without the resident evil name, re5 and 6 were good shooters, but with the resident evil name slapped on them they fall very short, which is why i try and view them as non resident evil games. |

| RE 5-6 was complete garbage. RE 1-4 were the best ones. Capcom says it doesn't want to go back to its Roots...than fans aren't going but anymore RE's. |

He's right. People aren't looking for the same thing they were looking for back in 1996. Resident Evil 1 would not have sold 1 Million+ if it was conjured up and came out around now. I know, it's gross that money and sales are what make the games now, but I'm just being honest with all the original RE fans (including myself). |
