I would go to watch it.
I've sat through awful game movies like House of the Dead 1 & 2, both the Silent Hill movies, the entire Resident Evil series, Max Payne and Alone in the Dark. I mean, if you can sit through those... Alone in the Dark in particular, then you can sit through anything.
Plus, Doom was a good movie so its not impossible to make a watchable movie out of a game franchise. |

I think it might make a good film, can't be any worse than
Mario Bros
Farcry (was based on Xbox 360 version)
Alone In The Dark
The resident Evil films are ok (except for second one)
Tomb Raider is the best game2movie conversion though. |

Don't know what the first two are talking about, Doom was fucking horrible. The movie was unwatchable.
I don't know why they are going to do a movie of ghost recon. It's not like the games are known for their plot. |

| Why make live action movies of video games? They are never that good. They should only make video game movies animated. Like Tekken Blood Vengeance or like the Resident Evil animated movie with Leon in it. This is going to be another waste of thousands or even millions. |

if it is being made by the dev team then hopefully it will be good.
@15 no thank god, it was canceled because of various reasons and because it went so off base from the plot of the games in every way, shape and form, family of thieves type of crap and Drakes father, being in it when he is a orphan and all, also no Sully. So good thing that won't get made.
@3 yeah Doom was a fun movie minus the fact they took hell and demons out, but other then that fact it was fun they changed the main character over all to one of the main bad guys and the sudden fp pov was just great, people are a little to hard on the movie sadly. |
