Sharks! New Grand Theft Auto V Screens Sink Their Teeth In

Rockstar has released five new screens for Grand Theft Auto V, teasing some interesting new (potential) gameplay elements.

There's gonna be sharks! Big, fat, teeth-filled sharks. In fact there's gonna be scuba diving and what we guess is a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) too, which will add a whole new element to the game. Other than swimming and driving boats, I don't remember there being too many exciting water-based gameplay elements in GTA IV. Judging by these shots, that's all about to change baby.

Of note elsewhere, is a new screen of a fighter accompanying what looks like a jumbo jet, suggesting there's going to be some kind of mid-air escort missions going on. But enough chatter from me, have a look at the screens below.

Grand Theft Auto V is out in Spring 2013.

Was never a fan of GTA:4

But from what I've seen and heard so far, I think this will be a great buy!

lol, the way the PS3t logo is slapped right over the GTAV logo is kind of amusing.

Anyway, I've had this pre-ordered for awhile now but I'm excited.

Dont really care about scuba diving but i like that they have added animals. I really hope that the game looks the same as the screen shots. Day 1 buy for this guy

@18 I was hoping for the same thing, but that would probably be way too big of a project for DLC. Maybe not though. I think it was Dan Houser who said they'd like to make a game that included all of their cities. So, maybe they could pull it off.

I also would like a country music station. I like the songs on K-Rose. Some are are particuarly funny like ' All my exes live in texas'& ' the letter that johnny walker read'. lol

@22 Who knows what R* have up their sleeve. Maybe they have already made those two cities and are releasing them as dlc. I can only hope.

Hopefully GTA-5 have some things like GTA SanAndres like:

1. Shooting range
2. Driving school
3. Flaying school
4. Maybe the other two schools

I was going to put 5 as girlfriends but that's to much to ask. But instead the ability to feel hungry, gained weight loos weight. And probably gyms just for the funn of it.

If you have Game Informer magazine review of GTA5 then read it but they're taking out everything that made some of the GTA games great.

Like what?
The great thing about Rockstar is that they're not pussies. They dare take chances like, for instance, build up a franchise to max potential (GTA PS2 era), break it down again (GTA IV), start it off in a new direction (GTA V). If we got the "things that usually made GTA games great", we'd come to a point where people would feel it was the same old, same old. Luckily they're steering clear of that. That's what it means when they said that they usually let their game franchises have a period to ripen (And that's why I think it won't be long until we see Bully 2).

BTW: I think that the submarine has room for a person. It's not a ROV, though I could be mistaking. They're using subs like this one in the film The Abyss, sitting in them. It would suck if we could only remote control them.
