SEQUENCE 4

SEQUENCE 6
- On Johnson’s Trail: fixed a bug where sometimes Adams and Revere could be missing, preventing the player from starting the mission

- Lexington and Concord: fixed a bug where the player could stay stuck on the road while on horseback at a specific spot on the mission’s path

EPILOGUE
- Fixed Animus Synching gameplay that could get stuck

- Boston Underground: fixed a bug where Haytham could never use the North Port entrance

- THE PROPER TOOLS: added map icons on all shops in New York when that mission asks the player to go buy the hammer parts for the blacksmith

  • About time to fix the fixes :)
  • Finally, they fixed the guns. About fucking time!
  • 3 massive patches, shows how buggy this game is.
  • Maybe Ubi will finally realize how buggy their games are (Far Cry 3 is a mess as well...), so they won't be rushing it anymore. I finished the game before the first patch was published, I'm glad new players won't get angry as much as I did while going for the plat.
  • Just because I finished the game side stuff yesterday. LOL
  • This game was in development for 3 years...Is that not enough time to figure out these bugs o_O
  • Did not even come across most of them bugs. Fixed NPC committing suicide when the player approaches I would of loved to of seen that.
  • well, even as the game is as buggy as they say (i didnt found too many glitches, nor any major glitch, apart from the farmers one) this speaks good on ubisoft part, fixing their game in so little time, 2 big updates in less than 2 months. i know, it must be unnacceptable to release glitchy games, but apparently is the trend today, and there is nothing we can do right now about it.
  • Still no fix for the DLC glitch :(.
  • Anyone else getting sick of having to install massive patches in games all the time. Total bull****
  • @10: That's not "massive" the second was like 50MB, done in a minute. Nice to see the game finally being playable like it should be at release. I seriously couldn't believe my eyes when the second gun was gone (using Pitcairn's gun made the second holster empty). How could someone not see this major game affecting bug? Though, no word about fixing the cutscenes to Connor's inGame appearance? And also no word about improving this terrible network code? Last weekend I could only find 3 games. At all. The whole weekend. And all three had unplayable lag.
  • Ok I really hope I'm missing this, but where is the fix for the UFO Frontier mission bug that prevents you from completing it. It's preventing me from 100% :(
  • This is why I hardly ever buy games on launch day. By the time I get to it, the game is as fixed as it's going to get.
  • but still there are a lot of bugs lol
  • I'm glad I'm waiting to play this... It's on my shelf still sealed, but I'm finishing up some backlogged games before I'm allowing myself to play it. I'm happy to see I will hopefully miss a lot of the glitches/bugs that people are experiencing!
  • i will install the patch hopping that i'll get encyclopedia of the common man trophy and then the platinum and (if i'm lucky) after that i will not touch it again.#4 i didn't buy Far Cry 3 because AC3 was SOOOO buggy, i lost my faith in you UBISOFT.
  • People act like these "problems" were game breaking. I played through the entire game and ran into nothing that was huge or prevented me from playing the game, only small, rather funny bugs that I laughed at then moved on. And I'm not trying to say there aren't problems or legitimize having bugs in a game, it's just entertaining for people to complain about small bugs in one game and then praise another game despite it being very buggy and virtually broken, like Skyrim.
  • @17: Well, most of them weren't game breaking - besides NPCs not spawning, which happened quiet often for me and though a few were trophy / 100% breaking - but a whole lot of them were clearly visible, game-play affecting (like the 2 guns) bugs and a general bummer to the atmosphere. After they tried everything to convince us that this game was much longer in development than AC:B and AC:R it's a real shame that it came out as it did. The only 2 bugs I encountered in AC:R were the golden eyes and the patch-glitch with the books.
  • "the patch contains fixes for... well, everything by the looks of it." Nope, not quite :) I see no mention of them still fixing the missing UFO boldtben mentioned above or the almanac sidequest being stuck at 89% - all three of these have existed before the first patch and have yet to be addressed. Perhaps next time (unless they are included in this patch but just not specifically mentioned). Pivots fix *seems* to be included this time, but apparently not working for everyone yet according to the forums.
  • Good to see. I've encountered a few of these glitches myself but looks like they're all taken care of!
  • Good to see. I've encountered a few of these glitches myself but looks like they're all taken care of!
  • @11 the point is that games shouldn't need to be fixed, they should be ready. Every time there's a bf3 patch it's around a gb which takes me hours to get. I don't mind a minor patch for small patch but sometimes it's just a joke
  • how many QA people did they have testing this...2!!! Should have not rushed this game out ubisoft hope this is a lesson learned an we get a better next one. Connors personality should have been fixed too (monosyllabic twat)
  • Not complaining. It's a big game and I'm glad that Ubi was able to get the glitches dealt with. Yeah it took 3 years of development and reasoning would tell you they would have been earlier but sometimes things happen. Still a superb game! :)
  • This isn't even the first patch. Or the largest. AND there's more stuff they need to fix not including the poor decisions to change the controls or have, like, NO ambient music in the game. Why are they releasing these things like this? And it's on everybody's Game of The Year list despite all that. Ridiculous.
  • I hope the gun fix fixes my glitch. I've sent them several messages detailing a glitch I've had with one Naval mission, Dead Chest's Treasure, where I'm unable to target the fleeing target with a Pistol, rendering the mission near impossible to complete 100%. Yet the reply I got 3 times now is "We need more information." -_-
  • Had this since release and havent touched it waiting till its fully fixed as i dont want to get pissed of with the amount of bugs ive been told about and that ive read hopefully ill start it soon.
  • Honestly you people need to relax and just enjoy the game. Sure its buggy but majority of the glitches arent game breaking and arent even that annoying. Just be glad that Ubisoft is willing and able to release patches that work. Look at skyrim they still havent fixed a whole shit load of glitches including the dlc ones. I bought this game day one and I ran into the Almanac glitch which prevented me from getting platinum but you know what im fine because I know that they are trying to fix it and all I have to do is wait a little bit and can continue again. And if you say well they shouldnt even have to make patches well every game has patches just be glad they can make patches remember ps1 days? If you encountered a game breaking glitch that was it and least now we have a chance.
  • Is this referring to 1.03? Because that was out yesterday (12/17). I'm not sure why you're saying this patch is "headed our way, due to hit before christmas"...?
  • Atleast they are fixing the problem, unlike THQ with Homefront.
  • @26 That mission doesn't need a pistol, I tried to shoot a couple of times and failed. There's a point when you are way above the fleeing target and can aerial assassinate easily. I understand that some bugs only come to light after going gold, but the amount of obvious glitches in AC3 on release was simply unacceptable. I would have happily played AC games into my old age, but after this farce have changed my mind; one more game to wrap up Desmond's story and then put the series to rest before you turn it into COD!
  • typical. struggled all the way through this game to finally get the plat. could not find a courier anywhere and when I did I accidentally poisoned him! oh well, good news for those about to or still playing it.
  • very good very good i kept getting the shard of eden message after every loading screen
