Almost everyone likes Mario Kart, right? SEGA had a proper crack at doing the mascot racer thing with Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, and now developer Sumo Digital is back for another go at making its mark on the genre with a twist on the formula. The twist in question? Transforming vehicles.

Featuring courses that traverse land, water and the air, Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed boasts a ton of fan service and a novel roster of SEGA greats and guest stars. But is it enough to build upon the strong foundations the first game set? Is it the mascot racer SEGA has been hoping for or another pale Mario Kart clone?

Read our definitive Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed review to find out.
