One of the things that’s been missing as of late from the Assassin’s Creed franchise is the joy of meeting its new protagonist. We loved Ezio and Altair, but in the end they outstayed their welcome. Enter Assassin’s Creed III and a new protagonist, Connor, a piece of fresh meat for our consumption. We caught up with Assassin’s Creed III’s Lead Writer, Corey May, recently to get an insight into the new chap we’re going to be spending a considerable amount of hours with next week. Who he is, how they came up with him, what kind of a person we can expect, May reveals all in our mini Connor history lesson. As well as all the shiny gameplay segments, we also shot May in the shadows, you know, because that’s where the Assassin’s Creed protagonists are at their most deadly. Genius, right!? Well, we thought so, although we are pretty smug sometimes. Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled for an October 29th and October 30th release in North America and Europe respectively.
