Not got a chuffing clue what’s happened in the Assassin’s Creed series thus far? Fancy watching a recap of Desmond’s story? We’ve got just the thing for you.

In the vid below you’ll be brought up to speed all that guff about apples and assassins and the Animus. It’s all rather swish and is, presumably, the intro to Assassin’s Creed III. Get on it below.

We've written lots of words about Assassin’s Creed III. There’s some here about the single-player campaign and some here about the Domination multiplayer mode. Or, alternatively, here’s a video interview. If you can't be arsed with sentences and such.

Assassin's Creed III is out on October 30th in North America and October 31st in Europe.

	It looks more like an intro video for the actual game to me, rather than a trailer. Note the lack of game/developer/publisher logos, ESRB/PEDI rating, etc. Also the captioned words at the bottom are not terribly indicative of a trailer. Word is that this is a leaked cinematic from the game itself.

	Its not leaked.... its part of the Hacked History game on the official Assassin's Creed website... Its the big prize for decoding things :)

	Ok, so that's the video that's going to play when we boot up AC3. He's got Altair's knowledge and Ezio's skills, but what does he need from Connor? That's what I'd like to know. I want to know why he's going back into the Animus to re-live Connor's memories. At the same time, I don't because it might spoil the story before I get to play...GOD I can't wait until the end of the month! I WANT IT NOW!!! xD

	@7 The Templars must be one to you! :P @8 Maybe he needs to learn of that certain location from that certain ending in that certain AC game and has to see it as Connor. That, and this game might get me extra credit in my US History class! :D No not really :(

	I love that when they show the Earth burning in the background they're playing the track "Scheduled For Deletion" from the ACR soundtrack
