The next chunk of campaign content for Borderlands 2 has been revealed, via an update to the game’s Trophies.

As listed here, there’s three new Trophies up for grabs, all part of an add-on called, Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.

Explosive - Complete the mission "Long Way To The Top" (Bronze)
Motorhead - Completed all Campaign of Carnage side missions (Silver)
Obsessed - Collected 10 pictures of Moxxi in Campaign of Carnage (Gold)

Gearbox and 2K is yet to announce the DLC, but expect it to be the second in Borderlands 2’s four piece add-on set, all of which are part of the game’s Season Pass.

Still not got Borderlands 2? Buy it! Read this! Then Buy it!

  • Nice one, I will be getting this on launch day :).
  • Again, made by a different company though.. :
  • too bad these dlcs are just 3 trophies :( bummer
  • @3 But they both have a Gold, which is really unusual for dlcs. Torgue is my least favourite brand :/ so I'm not sure I'll enjoy the loot!
  • I just want to know when!!!!!
  • But they both have a Gold, which is really unusual for dlcs. @3 Not really when you look at Borderlands DLC, bigger DLC more trophies yes with golds, slivers etc. I hope one of the last two DLC has a level-cap increase which going by these two DLC i cannot see, hopefully i am wrong.
  • @2 Are you sure? My impression is that Gearbox did the BL2 DLC themselves. TBH I don't see what the problem is even IF the new game DLC is externally developed, except for one notable exception the BL1 DLC was great, even if it was shoe-horned in by other devs after the game was completed.
  • @7 Watch the Scarlett credits. The DLC has been made by a different company. And now a site reports this oen is being made by the same company that made sorcery : I'm not saying the DLC won't be good, but it might just not have that 'gearbox touch'. The Scarlett DLC was pretty meh.
  • Glad I'm waiting for the GoTY edition of the game. I would have bought it already, but I'm saving for AC:3 and AC:L right now and the Mass Effect Trilogy on Nov 6th(?)
  • Campaign of Carnage kind of sounds like an arena fight or something. If so, let us hope it turns out better than Moxxi's.
  • How odd...you think they'd time the DLC to where they are extending the interest of the game, not throw out multiple DLC only a month after the game released. There's been 2 DLC pieces released with a third on the way; I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but I severely doubt most players have run out of things to do on the vanilla game.
  • Kind of an odd choice for Gearbox to outsource their dlc development.
  • 2 campaign DLCs out of the 4 they said there would be have been shown in under a month of the game coming out. This worries me.
  • I wish the DLCs had more than 3 trophies to them. Kinda sucks
  • @14 But they have a silver, and gold, which i'm sure evened out to the same/similar points as the first games (many) bronze and (few) silver.
  • Makes me think that the president of Torgue might be showing up in this one and if his radio adds are to go by hes going to be just like his guns, loud, insane and explosive.
  • @15 The Underdome had 5 trophies. Including 1 gold and 3 silver iirc.
  • @8 Sorry I don't see what you see, the official Scarlett trailer credits only feature 2K and Gearbox. Not saying you're wrong, simply that Gearbox's Randy Pitchford said they were doing the DLC and that the OFFICIAL trailer gives no indication there's been a change.
  • @19 the actual credits for Scarletts, not the trailer credits, they outsourced part of the work. How much I do not know.
  • @8: Same developer that made Sorcery? Not wasting my money on this CONFIRMED! Sorcery is the worst game to come out this year.
  • @22 I think it's more they're helping Gearbox with the DLC
