| I still have the new store. Sony did say some people might get the old store back, or it might switch. Looks like it works fine here. Adding funds, pre-ordering and downloaded EP4 of Walking Dead. I'm in Norway. |

| That explains why I still have the old PSN store, still even the old one was having a lot of problems on the PSN+ section, where it doesn't load all the content, making impossible to find about 75% of the PSN+ stuff without extra work... |

| Shitty...I was afraid something like this might happen, perhaps they may consider giving user's the option to choose which layout they'd like to use in the future. I know I'd prefer to have one as I'm not very fond of the new design as is. |

@9 your right we are the guinea pigs, they knew there would be problems or the US would have got it first. Longer we keep old store the better, new store does look too much like the Xbox 360 one. They should have kept store how it was and just fix the problems on that. |

"The PlayStation Store redesign is due to hit North America on October 20th. Hopefully the loading and wallet issues will be resolved before then." Actually I was thinking more along the lines of hopefully it's delayed for North America. Indefinitely. I'm pretty sure nobody asked for the store to look like Xbox Live, we just want it to run more smoothly. Fix the back end code and leave the appearance alone. |

I don't really see how it's 'copying' the Metro design on Xbox 360 when it only seems to have a passing resemblance. Everything on PS Store was already tiled, they just seemed to remove borders and change the coloring scheme. And reorganize a few options. "OH NOES IT R COPY XBAWKS!" Oh please. @18 I don't see how you can say XMB sucks when it's the best UI on current consoles. Xbox 360's dashboard UI got more convoluted as they started including endless ads and literally making it harder to navigate. And Wii's UI could be organized a little better visually. The XMB is great, with everything organized into categories to do what UI's should do well - make it easy for you to get to what you want. The PS3's lack of RAM is what makes loading the XMB during playback total crap. |

It irritates me that Sony seem to put the US on a pedestal as if somehow thinking that there's more consumers there then.. ALL of Europe/Australasia/UK combined. Why is the only thing we get first ridden with bugs and shit. I can't add funds either. I don't hate the new store but specifically searching for a certain game's DLC is difficult. It seems they expect you to go to the game and scroll all the way down to add-ons and search there. They've seemingly removed text search and don't seem to organize DLC by folder anymore.. which is stupid |

The current PS Store is lapsidaisical at best with numerous broken images and products not appearing as promised and avertised at the gaming community on update day.....regularly. Do SONY PSN Store employees actually take the time to sign-in and check their work on the Store weekly or or they too lazy, or not motivated effectively? Or is it more cost effective to wait for the inevitable free focus group feedback? I don't expect the new store to address any of the long apparent issues. It is a change taken on our behalf, that we will have to fall in love with......... Primarily because we don't have much of a choice. |

| Been a PS fan ever since SEGA died...Yeah, I even have a VITA with a 32GB memory card...Sad to say that SONY will be the next SEGA. This generation was plagued by them being (a) late to market & (b) overpriced. SONY is already touting that the PS4 will be 4K TV (over $10,000 tv) compatible. This will make them (a) late to market AGAIN & (b) overpriced AGAIN! 95% of this generations games were NOT upscaled to 1080P for the PS3 & the same will happen nextgen on SONY's last attempt to compete with the PS4. It hurts because ya'll know it's true... |

| Oh, god. Tried out the new store... it's a serious downgrade. It's no faster than the old version, if not slower, three pages of ads before I can get to the New Releases options, they have *completely* forgotten to add folders, so now there's dozens of things from a half-dozen games that really deserve to be in folders spread all over the page, new stuff is at the *bottom* of the screen, when it should be up the top, I can't resize the icons anymore - the current sizes used to be the middle-sized option in the old store - and worst of all, they've gone and added banners that take up *half the goddamn screen*. Yeah, I get it, there's a sale, this is PSN Plus, whatever, now let me look at more than 2 rows of stuff. |

This new store is shit on ice anyway -- not that the old one was so great, but it was better than this. Agreed about the XMB needing an overhaul -- personally, I think the original 360 dashboard (i.e. the one at launch, before the Miis invaded) was the best UI I've ever seen on a console. Unfortunately, they traded beauty for bullshit, failed to get exclusives as good as PS3 and didn't have BluRay so here I am... but as much as I like the PS3, Sony is a terribly managed company that seems intent on destroying their own successes. |

@37 The 260 can't do 1080p either, no console can. The only game system that currently go TRUE 1080p is the PC and that's it (well, maybe the Mac as well, but whatever). And I highly doubt Sony would make the PS4 cost over $500 max, let alone 4 to 10 grand. |

@37 4k is the new HD and the TV's at the moment cost about 10 grand. Samsung have made a 8k TV but thats a few years off of being in shops yet. |

| @48 The problem is unless you get a really big TV, the 4K resolution is useless because human eyes wouldn't discern the difference. Unfortunately 1080p hasn't become standard for broadcast networks so 4k is way off in the future. |
