Okami HD TGS Vid Confirms October Launch
Written Monday, September 24, 2012 By

Capcom has confirmed that Okami HD will be heading to the PlayStation Network in late-October, bringing painting wolf god Amaterasu back to the PlayStation platform with PS Move support and trophies.

As the 'HD' bit suggests, Okami HD will be presented in 1080p high-definition, which will makes its glorious painterly watercoloured style pop. It already looked bloody gorgeous on the PS2, so we're rather excited about this.

You'll be able to download Okami HD from the PS Store on October 30th in North America for $19.99, while in Europe it'll be priced at £15.99/€19.99 and will be launching on October 31st. Awesome. Check out the latest trailer below.

I have to say, though Issun could be annoying, the part (which is in the trailer) where they split made me sad back on PS2 :(

$20? $10 for this game would have been overpriced, but $20?

Oh who am I kidding, I wouldn't buy that for a dollar. This game sucked on Wii and I highly doubt it's going to stop sucking just because of HD graphics and trophies.

For 20 bucks and a plat to play as Ammy again is a SURE fire purchase. This is a great deal! Don't know why others are hating!

I love how people come here to cry about $20 for a beautiful HD remake, yet they will probably by angry birds for $40 and call it a great deal. Pfft get out.

What are they all yapping about? I paid €20 for Okami on PS2 (which worked fine with the controls, I don't know about Wii, but I can remember a review where somebody said that the Wii motion controller worked less than the analog stick of the PS2 for controlling the brush) and I'll be happy to pay another €20 to play this again, in HD, with trophy support :)

I had this for the wii and I loved it. I don't own it no more due to the wii being a dead console, so I might pick this up. Oo I think it played well on the wii. the controls were fine to me. I love to pick up older games more than some new ones these days.
