| my guess is that a year or two ago, after seeing that the game was not near ready at the time, sony decided that it should be a PS4 launch title. If so, at this point it might actually be finished, or close to finished, they just can't say anything about it because it is for the ps4. |

| I actually hope it will still make it to the PS3. I don't expect the PS4 anytime before 2014, so a summer 2013 release of the Last Guardian would be perfect :) |

I think too much emphasis is being placed on 'end of cycle'. Last I checked, PS4 release hasn't been announced. Not jumping on the Wii-U, so for the conceivable future I will be gaming on the PS3. There is still lots of time left to enjoy this generation of consoles, and with an install base of the current size, a PS3 release would generate far more sales than a launch release for the PS4, which would likely only reach a very limited market due to inevitable console shortage. Some of the best games to date for the PS3 are likely still to come. |

| I can understand if they make this game a PS4 launch title but I doubt that it will be a system seller thought. The wait has been too long for this game and I think most have forgotten about or moved on from this game. I hope that when it finally comes out - hopefully on PS3 - that it gets decent sales so we CAN get something on the PS4. Hope the studio still has a long life ahead of them and not a slow and painful death due to the time and effort put into making The Last Guardian. |

| @1-if its had trouble on the PS3,there is no way its launching on the PS4.it will most likely be GOW 2,and come out 2 years after the newer console. |

| Why do you think the PS4 needs to come out just because a new nintendo console is coming out? If you look at the Wii U specs it is still a less powerful machine than the current xbox or playstation, I think the PS3 still has another good 2-5 years left in it |

| @7 I agree the Wii U is just Nintendo's attempt to compete with the current console generation and the technology for the PS3 won't be outdated for another couple of years |

| Shadow of the Colossus was released at nearly the end of PS2's life and it in no was obscure for it. It is still remembered as a masterpiece to this day and this too will be remembered. |

I love how the article clearly states that it's still coming to PS3, so nearly all the comments are people talking about how they think it'll be for PS4. Are you people incapable of reading? @7: You can't look at specs because there are no official Wii U specs. And what are you talking about anyway because all the rumored ones put it far ahead of both the 360 and the PS3. |

@10: Just because they say so doesn't mean it'll be like that. It could still very well be released for the PS4 no matter how often they reassure it's for the PS3. And Wii U far ahead of PS3 and XBox360? So far, everyone says it's pretty much the same level. |
