![]() | XCOM: Enemy Unknown Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed With New Walkthrough Vid and Screens Written Friday, September 07, 2012 By Richard Walker View author's profile |
As XCOM: Enemy Unknown nears its October launch date, 2K has today revealed a pre-order incentive for the game in the shape of the 'Elite Soldier Edition', which bundles the game with the Elite Soldier Pack DLC at no additional cost. There's a few new screens to coincide with the pack, and a gameplay walkthrough video that has nothing to do with the pack, but has everything to do with the game itself. Obviously. First of all though, here's the 'ulimate soldier customisation' content you'll find in the Elite Soldier Pack, available free with pre-orders of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It includes the classic UFO Defense blonde flattop fella!
Now onto the video bit. Showing off some lovely new gameplay (it is a gameplay walkthrough, after all), the latest XCOM video features commentary from Lead Designer Jake Solomon, and shows off some of the game's alien enemies, like the Sectoid commander and the Muton with their nasty mind-control abilities. You can also see the XCOM Psionic class in action, as the Reaper Squad make their way onto the battlefield. Check out the video and screenshots below. There's a total of seven images from the Elite Soldier Pack in the gallery. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is out on October 9th in North America and October 12th in Europe. ![]() ![]() | |
