Disney Interactive and Junction Point have revealed a new area of Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two at PAX Prime, showcasing Fort Wasteland, which is based upon the historic Frontierland area of Disneyland that originally opened in 1955.

Featuring forgotten attractions like the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland and Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island, Frontierland has inspired the in-game Fort Wasteland, which will challenge Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, as they embark upon their co-op platforming adventure together.

Check out all 15 Fort Wasteland screenshots in the gallery, and watch the latest developer diary video below, which goes behind the scenes on the game's music with Creative Director, Warren Spector. For more Epic Mickey 2, watch our interview with Spector and our hands-on preview.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is out on November 18th.

I'm beginning to enjoy this journey to the Disney past. More obscure Disney references please! Like that gremlin in the video still!

Mickys ears are always circles no matter what angle you look at him from. I honestly cannot stop noticing that....

Regardless this looks interesting.
