Funny thing is Mircosoft probably paid for 1 month delay of DLC. Probably more then half milion $?? And the DLC would not come out if they would pay or not ;)
I am awaiting Skyrim GOTY. Hope then all DLC will be on disc. I wont buy skyrim before that, and I must say skyrim is my top priority on buy list. |

| Yeah... due to Bethesda's poor handling of the DLC release I'm basically done with Skyrim now. If Dawnguard came out when it should have, 30 days after the XB360 one I probably would have gotten it but I've got other games to play. Sorry Beth, you just aren't worth it. |

| This is the whole reason I have yet to get Skyrim. I was waiting for a GOTY Edition once all the dlc's came out for PS3 but with the way it looks there won't be any. Just stupid that they wouldn't have seen this coming with all the other problems Skyrim has had on PS3, and Fallout 3 before, and at least prepaired for it. |

| Fallout 3 DLC all over again. This is why I now only buy Bestheda games for my 360. Their support for the PS3 sucks. Not only was the Fallout 3 DLC one of the most delayed ones, european users had to wait even more than americans on that one. Get your heads together Bestheda. Seriously. Why do you discriminate your PS3 users so much? And it's not the exclusivity thing that saves your collectives hides from this. The exclusive period is now over. It was 30 days, it's now well over it. |

| As a huge fan of bethesda and their games I am slowly starting to lose patience with them. Why don't you guys finish one game instead of half-assing it and having to patch it constantly like someone that doesn't know what the hell they were doing in the first place. I am on the verge of never buying anything that has the Bethesda name on it if they don't pick it up. Sixty dollars a game is slowly becoming a pain when they are starting to become half finished games. Why don't you guys start focusing on one thing at a time. |

I'm just gonna copy and paste exactly what I said a few weeks back when the rumors of Fallout 4 surfaced - because the message remains the same. Fuck Bethesda.
As much as I would like this, I refuse to give Bethesda any more of my money.
With their Skyrim issues, refusal to have yet put out Dawnguard on PS3 (even though MS exclusivity is long past) with no timetable when it will come out, continual lag/freeze/glitch issues in Fallout that get worse as your save file grows - yet they do NOTHING to fix it and their way-too-expensive DLC for the Fallout series, this will NEVER be bought first hand by me.
This is my stand. I will wait for GOTY and buy it used. I hope others follow suit so maybe, just maybe, Bethesda will get their collective heads out of their asses and actually show that they give a shit about their consumers that shell out $100+ for Fallout games and DLC.
Fix your shit Bethesda. Until then, fuck you.

I'd say considering that Oblivion never got a trophy patch and now the Skyrim DLC has been delayed for PS3 while 360 is getting full focus, that PS3 owners are indeed less important.
The right thing to do would've been to wait until each consoles versions had all the bugs worked out and released them together. Especially from a financial perspective.. |

They've already announced they are having problems getting it to run correctly on the PS3 platform, give it up guys. If they figure out a fix, it will be released. Until then, quit whining and go enjoy other games. You can't just re-write an entire engine because an unexpected problem happened with a multi-platform engine. |

Honestly I don't see where it went wrong. I had few glitches until 1.4 and got the platinum before that; I think it was 1.2 or 1.3 that introduced the never-landing dragons and it's been downhill from there.
In a way, I'm glad this has happened; I learned not to buy Bethesda games on PS3, I learned not to buy them new, and I learned to be wary of games with timed-exclusivity contracts. |

To everyone who is questioning whether or not there was a timed exclusivity for Xbox there was. It was posted very openly that Microsoft paid Bethesda for a timed exclusivity on it's DLC for Skyrim. However that was only a 30 day period (It may have been shorter but it was 30 max). We are now well beyond that period which makes me inclined to believe that they are just not going to release it on PS3. If they put it off long enough eventually people will give up and move on.
On a side note the Bethesda rep would make a great politician the way he dodged all the questions about this. |

Welp, all this means is I get to trade in skyrim for a discount on Doom 3 (sadly, another bethesda game, well not really, but yeah).

| @#6 You do know that Dishonored is not being developed by bethesda. It is only being published by them, unlike skyrim where it was developed and published by bethesda. There is no reason to not support Arkane studios on there work with dishonored, just because it is being developed by Bethesda. |

I had no problem with the Xbox exclusivity deal, had Dawnguard dropped within a reasonable time. Now, an announcement regarding the second DLC for the Xbox and still nothing for the PS3?
I hate to say it, but the PS is a dying platform. Very little exclusive content, a so so online experience, and more glitchy games than the Xbox. Now, you add something like this on top of it, the writing is on the wall. I for one will be getting the bulk of my games on the Xbox. I'm done with Sony and the PS3. |

That isn't even an answer to the question. I mean don't get me wrong I'm upset with the delays, bugs, glitches, you name it, but I have been willing to look past it because the game is just that fun. Seriously though, what kind of answer is that. If your going to be behind the ball at least be willing to answer a simple question about your short comings instead of stating that you make yourself sad. Even the fist question they couldn't seem to understand well enough to answer.

| @15 completely agreed. i like bethesda and usually try to defend them when everyone goes crazy at them about their games, but they don't even sound apologetic in the replies linked with this story. In general though i'm fed up with PS3 getting things late. In this case it doesn't really affect me too much as i don't have money to buy it, but the number of games that have dlc released early on xbox is really starting to wind me up. |

| Sucks I was pretty excited for this dlc but I think I finally accepted the fact it won't happen. Because of this I probabaly won't get Dishonored at all. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that they favor xbox over ps3, they usually do. I' it as far as not giving us the dlc at all. Pretty messed up but it will come back to bite them one day. |
