Transformers: War for Cybertron was the first decent Transformers video game in years. In that respect, it was a bit of a shock, but for many it was a by the numbers shooter in disguise. High Moon realised that the game was seen as too repetitive, which is why the sequel is all about providing variety by the bucketload.

Boasting fan favourites like Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Jazz, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Grimlock, Bruticus and more, is Transformers: Fall of Cybertron a love letter to hopeless nostalgics like us, or is it more of the same? Is variety and colour enough to make for an ambitious sequel, and is there more to this than meets the eye?

Read our definitive Transformers: Fall of Cybertron review to find out.
