PES 2013 to Feature 150 Licensed Teams

Always FIFA's ugly sister when it comes to license acquisition, Konami is upping its game with this year’s Pro Evolution Soccer.

In this year’s edition of the popular football title the publisher has secured 150 licences in total, including all teams in La Liga and Serie A, 17 additional international sides and the use of The UEFA Champions League tournament.

PES 2013 will also feature Manchester United, Bayern Munich, FC Porto, AEK Athens, Galatasaray Istanbul, Shahktar Donetsk, FC Kopenhagen, Zenit St Petersburg, CSKA Moscow, RSC Anderlecht, Dinamo Kyiv and Dinamo Zagreb among others.

Despite this, however, the game looks set to fall short when it comes to the Premier League. Indeed, press material for the game suggests that Manchester United are the only representative from the top-tier of the English game. Disappointing.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is out in September.

A shame really. I always preferred PES to FIFA, but this lack of licensed teams is really a drag.

If PES 2013 has Rangers, or an Old Firm Blue/Govan United/Glasgow Blue/Whatever that I can edit into Rangers, I'll buy it since it looks extremely unlikely they'll make the cut in Fifa 13.

hated the demo and from what i just read i think for the first time ever konami can take their half arsed game and stick it were the sun don't shine.

if a vita version was released i may consider that.

pes is becoming a joke of a game.

my opinion feel free to differ.

I doubt they will but it would make me buy the game! I'm kind of in between at the moment. Didn't really find PES 12 too fun though.

They could be in rest of the world in FIFA 13?

Good thing that there are patches that people make, so stop moaning about the licenses, it's by no means the reason to dislike PES!

Download an option file as always.

Wonder if they still only have 2 kits. Edging towards Fifa this year.

option files are ok but your either take the lazy route and get stuck with what somebody else wants to include in the game,or your spending hours upon hours making your own file.

it just shouldn't be.

@2 and 4

They will no doubt be a Rest of World team as they will have already been developed. Though it wouldnt really be an issue if your club hadnt been acting illegally and cheating
