Always FIFA's ugly sister when it comes to license acquisition, Konami is upping its game with this year’s Pro Evolution Soccer. In this year’s edition of the popular football title the publisher has secured 150 licences in total, including all teams in La Liga and Serie A, 17 additional international sides and the use of The UEFA Champions League tournament. PES 2013 will also feature Manchester United, Bayern Munich, FC Porto, AEK Athens, Galatasaray Istanbul, Shahktar Donetsk, FC Kopenhagen, Zenit St Petersburg, CSKA Moscow, RSC Anderlecht, Dinamo Kyiv and Dinamo Zagreb among others. Despite this, however, the game looks set to fall short when it comes to the Premier League. Indeed, press material for the game suggests that Manchester United are the only representative from the top-tier of the English game. Disappointing. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is out in September.
