@Lee Bradley Nicely done on main page title and sub header. "Like a pinch on the neck from Mr. Spock!" That fits better, though. |

| @3 oh and here comes the flame war. Honestly Abrams created his own interpretation of star trek and most people loved it. Same goes for nolwn's batman. This game looks to be fun! |

@3 - I'm a trekkie too, and as a trekkie...not just a fan of the various series, but the generalised philosophy behind Gene Roddenberry's stories, the truly advanced state of humanity, not just in terms of technology but of acceptance of other beings/races/religions/cultures and the insatiable hunger to explore and discover new things...it saddens me to see someone claim to be a trekkie and be so intolerant of anothers imagination/vision/interpretation of how they see something, even the world of Star Trek. If your a trekkie, your either a Romulan or a Klingon. As for the game, it does look interesting. |

@4 and 5 I wonder how Star Wars fans would like it if someone who wasn't even a Star Wars fan rebooted the entire franchise, changed its history, changed its tone, changed its timeline and blamed it on time travel? Abrams' film was nothing like Star Trek and for you to explain it as an 'interpretation' is an insult to nearly 40 years and over 700 episodes of work. |

is it just me or does this game look a little like a 'mass effect for the kids'? i say this of course purely on what i can see from the videos and the fact that no game will ever live up to the awesomeness of star trek! |

| @6 guess what, it was his own interpretation or vision of how he (Abrams) saw Star Trek. Who the fuck cares and get over yourself. Oh and the millions he raked in creating that movie shows that he gave the people what they wanted. |

@8 Why don't you calm down and not get so uptight? There's no point turning this into a full blown argument is there? Abrams made a film that would appeal to the masses and succeeded in that. Just because 'everyone' liked it doesn't mean it was a great film. The 'millions he raked in' doesn't mean he gave the people what they want, it means people went to see it. Box office success does not equal a great film. |
