Here’s some new screens for Ratchet & Clank Q-Force (otherwise known as Full Frontal Assault).

Created for the PlayStation Network by Insomniac, Q-Force is a 3D platformer with tower defence elements. Plus there’s an online mode with, “loads of upgrades, extra character skins and unlockable content.” More here.

Have a look at a selection of the screens below, then head over to the gallery for more. Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force out this autumn.

It sounds promising, but I was very disappointed with A4O. Will hold off on a decision here until I see more details.

I loved the PS2 R&C and the full platforms on PS3 except Quest for Booty felt I was cheated on that because it was so short but really I think they have lost out on ideas and are milking the franchise.

Plus I dont find it as comical anymore.

@9 They did, they just didn't elaborate on the method play style. Loop-holes my friend. I'm not disappointed in this entry in the slightest, as long as it's a decently extensive game. I mean you can play "story" mode with up to 3 other friends. And I would DEFINITELY not mind playing as any of the last given 4 characters. I'd personally liked to see reappearances of old bosses like Drek or the Mutated Experiment, Proto-Pet! :]

Will have to wait on this one until some reviews get in. I love R&C, but I hate Tower Defense. I'd hate to buy the game and then find out it's mostly tower defense and very little of what makes R&C great.

I think it's good. This way these PSN games for Ratchet and Clank can do something different and the main games can (hopefully) go back to the old Ratchet and Clank style and we have the old games till then.
