Looks like there could be further expansion to Mass Effect 3’s ending for those that download the upcoming Leviathan DLC. The changes can be found in script information hidden within Mass Effect 3’s Extended Cut DLC, information that is uncovered by having the Leviathon add-on installed. Read on, but beware SPOILERS. The upcoming add-on will reveal more information on the Leviathon, the creators of the Reapers. Extra dialogue options will allow Shepard to question the Star Child AI about the Leviathans' fate, as hinted at in the Extended Cut's existing dialogue. The extra lines were extracted from the Extended Cut by members of the official BioWare forum, who then posted on Pastebin. If the new add-on is installed, Star Child AI will say, "They are the creators. They are the ones who requested the solution. They became the first to be harvested." "We required their harvesting to create the first Reaper. To enforce and enact on the solution I created." In addition to this, those rummaging through the game’s code also discovered hints about the content of further story-based DLC, called Omega. If authentic, the add-on will likely see Shepard taking back Mass Effect 2 location Omega from Cerberus. The mission was snipped from an early version of Mass Effect 3. Apparently, dialogue options exist in Mass Effect 3 to instigate the mission but are currently inactive, presumably until the new add-on is released and downloaded. It’s a storyline that has already been set up in the Mass Effect 3: Invasion series of graphic novels. More as and when it hits.
