I always thought treyarch was better than iw i've been getting bored with cod since mw3 came out now i just can't wait for black ops 2 that trailer put the spark back.just hope it plays aswel as the trailer makes it look.

Im looking forward to this game because of the single player improvement and the story of the zombies. I never decided to get a COD game based on multi videos. (To me, they always drive away my attention, I just see them to see how it's going to be and to get new BO2 gameplay)
@3 They are all the same since there all made from the same engine as MW1. |

| Watched the trailer few hours ago! Looks awesome! Glad to see the Tomahawk back(please please bring back sticks n' stones too) and the swan dive! So looking forward to the fast paced in your face action that Black ops brings to the table! Harry up and let us pre-order the hardened edition and give a damn zombie trailer too! |

| I know I shouldn't say this but, this looks kinda fun D: i myself had a ton of fun with black ops. For some reason MW 2 and OMG MW 3 were horrible. So many things that people used to abuse those games not to mention the hackers. There are a good amount of games coming out this year and playstation all stars being number 1, hopefully i dont fall victim to another cod game.... |

| It just looks like a facelift to Black Ops. Just look past the modified HUD, new guns, etc and it's just the same ol' CoD. Sorry, Treyarch, but not even Zombies is going to be enough to get me to fork over $60 that could go towards a better game. |

@8 Actually, the engine was used in Call of Duty 2 (prior to MW1) - So its been the same engine since 2005 (atleast - probs production since 2003/4 :| )
However, according to Wiki, technically the engine has been in use since 1999, but modified and tweaked with each ongoing release.
Its clearly a dynamic build, but the argument stands, that up against rival games today, the engine is just too out dated and can no longer compete in the class. |

| @18,19- You only need those two minutes to realize that it's another mod of CoD4. If I was on Activision's payroll and they gave me the CoD engine, some employees, and two years to work, I could do the same damn thing that IW and Treyarch have been doing for the past 5 years. Plenty of people could. So no, this game does not deserve people buying it day one. I'd personally recommend people wait until it's at least half-price before even considering buying it, but unfortunately there's millions of fad-following CoD players who don't understand how badly shit like this affects gaming as a whole. |

| i actually pre-ordered and paid for it in full the same day and it looks interesting. i like to play the game for the single player, as for the zombies i dont really care for it that much and multi-player is just an normal addition since call of duty 3. |

@21 I fully agree, waiting for the price to drop is a good idea, there so far has been no REAL incentive to preorder
@18, you do realise that the MP is COD's main lifeline, I personally play for the single player campaign and lost interest in the MP side of COD ages ago but that is what people play for, people are making a decision on it with a 2 min trailer because within that 2 min trailer they have effectively shown us its the same shit in a different wrapper, there is nothing new about the MP worth noting apart from a few little weapon mods and a flying heli-gun big woop, everything else is just reskins of stuff thats been in all the other titles. |

maps look boring, the weapons are pretty much copys of black ops weapons just tweaked a little, theres flying robots and it just looks like another failed future warfare game.
i like cod, ive owned every game since COD3 but i feel there just scraping the barrel now :/ |

@10 thought you watched the trailer if you did you would have seen the dive just after the xray sight part.
And why does everyone say it's the same thing everyone knows it is thats why they play it,you wouldn't buy a FIFA and expect to find nba jam in the box.there's more 2 gaming than just graphics you know. |

@20 Really? I didn't know that. From most that I gathered, I was always thought there was at least 1 different engine before MW1. But still, I only play multi when I literally have nothing else to do. I know this is off topic, but if there were any COD games that I consider worthy of being in the series are the following. (I must have played them and it doesn't necessarily need to be different in terms of engine[Even though it never is])
A.The first COD game (It was revolutionary when it came out)
B. COD4 (MW1) (Said to be the best of the series of them all)
C. COD5 (WAW) (Must gory of the series and the only one that goes with a bit more realism[No guns are ever realistic in this game and I don't meant the models] and pretty much the only one that truly deserves the M rating)
D. COD 7 (BO1) (Personally, aside from many people hating the graphics, I found the main concept of the story very well done and pretty much trying to give theories of what really happened during the 60's. Although some people have told me that the story has a B movie rating feel, I still like this game for the story, zombies and yes, the multi. Only like multi because it got tuned to be more fair and I really felt that most players that tried to play this game had to use skills to win instead of relying on killstreaks. Treyarch has my support and the new concept they took for how to play BO2 in the story mode makes me want to buy the game.)
(P.S. For anyone who ask, My cousin let me Borrow COD 6 (MW2) and COD 8 (MW3). I personally consider this games the worsts of them all for good reasons.
MW2:
A. Story (Not bad, but not even close to how good MW1 was)
B. Spec ops (Challenging, but it could get boring to you quickly)
C. Multiplayer (The worst multi of the entire series and the very one that the communtiy)
MW3:
A. Story (Not bad)
B. Spec ops (Same thing)
C Multiplayer (Almost no improvement)
Simple as that folks. |

Ok heres the deal, mw1 and mw2 loved. mw3 ok but kinda glad its the end of the mw series cuz it was same as mw2 (not a bad thing at all if u enjoyed mw2. So yes IW is my fave dev team of the cods.
Cod 5 didnt really play much of, was ok i guess. Black ops i hated mp (dont play zombies so no comment there) but this is my problem i really enjoyed the story, prob the best sp cod game there has been thanks to the cold war era setting which i love so much in history! So, the only reason i will get bops2 is for story, will play a bit of mp im sure but since it looks more or less the same as bops1 i will tire after 24hrs playtime most likely.
In conclusion, i really hope the next series' of both cod sides really really step it up or i am afraid this will b my last cod (and no ive nvr said this before about a cod so i really do mean it) |

Im gonna stick with AC3 and maybe Warfighter.
I see too little improvement, and if they try to get this to eSports, then eSports has officially sunk into a deep abyss. Theres too little balance in CoD. Only ProMod should be used for eSports, gawd I miss the balance of CoD4. |

| @30 No prob over here. I didn't like MW2 and MW3 a lot because I felt lack of passion.This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy both games, but just...meh. That's all. I respect your opinions as you respect mine. About the Final COD thing, I hope that your right. If the COD series steps it up more like you say, I might buy them or I will too just gonna save $60 a year. (And like him, I have never posted once that Im not buying a COD game ever again, only posted that I would never buy MW3 and to this day, I have not bought it. So Im just as serious as him) |
