Tumbleweed...

As the sun continues to shine, the summer drought rolls on. There’s barely anything out this week. Indeed, apart from Persona 4 Arena the only two titles released in the world are older games catching up with other territories. So yeah. Boring.

Now, back to the Olympics.

Asia (via play-asia.com)

  • Sniper Elite V2

Australia (via ebgames.com.au)

  • Risen 2: Dark Waters

Europe (via amazon.co.uk)

  • ...

North America (via gamestop.com)

  • Persona 4 Arena

I just don't get it why so many publishers go for a Q4 Release. Only Square Enix and THQ seem smart enough to get some games into a summer release to avoid major competition. Last year it was Deus Ex and Space Marine, this year Darksiders II and Sleeping Dog.
Can't wait for next week :D

any publishers don't like summer releases because it's SUMMER, even if you are a gamer you still have to go out sometime right? plus it isn't fair for all the spring releases to get back logged ;) just my opinion but it does give me LOADS of time to catch up with the many games I have/ will get

@3: No offense to you, but the "it's summer - go out"-argument is one of the most bs I know. Just because it's summer doesn't mean you have magically no time for hobbies because you are outside all day & night meeting friends, go for a swim or have a BBQ. And it especially does not mean it's always nice weather. In some areas it's simply to hot to do anything outside during daytime and in other areas it sometimes rains the sh't out of heaven.
Summer sucks.

That's alright starting next week I almost have one game every week. Darksiders II, Transformers FOC, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Borderlands II, LBP, DOA 5, RE6 then I get a solid gap and its Assassins Creed (Vita + PS3), NFS Most Wanted (PS3+Vita) and then possibly Halo 4. Going to be an expensive but really good quarter.
