With Sleeping Dogs just a couple of weeks away from launch day, Square Enix has released a new gameplay vignette showing the gunplay in action, having previously focused heavily on the combat, with Wei Shen's kung-fu prowess taking the spotlight.

When Wei Shen gets his hands on firearms however, he's as deadly as you'd expect, wielding rifles and handguns like a pro. Mooted features for Sleeping Dogs' shooting bits includes an "aggressive cover system", "explosive and destructible environments" and "slow motion", according to the trailer. What more could you ask for?

There's a look at some of the high speed shootouts and car chases too, as well as Wei Shen putting the grenade launcher attachment on his assault rifle to good use. Check it out in the trailer below. Sleeping Dogs is out on August 14th in North America and August 17th in Europe.
