THQ has released some new screens for Darksiders 2, a game so promising that not even Death could prevent us from getting all dribbly and excited over.

In the screens you’ll see the boney faced one looking all cool and stuff, plus you’ll also get a glimpse of the game’s skill tree and inventory. Did we mention how excited we are? We’re really excited.

You can find all of the new screens below. Darksiders II is out on August 14th, 2012. Exciting.

Ooh RPG elements and character customization!

Love how it's also visible on the in-game character as well! Looks great :)

@6 tip for you and every other PS+ member: Each time new games come up, start downloading those you want right away and for the rest, select download but dont start the actual download. That way the content will be on your download list and you can go back to it later.

Damn!!! Darksiders 2, Madden 13 and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron all in a 2 week span! Hopefully I'm done with the excellent Rainbow Moon by then.

This reminds me, I still haven't finished the first game, infact, I bet I'm not even a quarter through it yet, lol.

These screenshots look amazing though, I'll definitely pick this up once I finish the first game!

@4, yeah the first one is a great game. There are a lot of comparisons to Zelda but it's only loosely similar in terms of gameplay style. The art style is rad, got this cool chunky Warhammer vibe to it. I think it's still free on PS+ so you'd be mad not to grab it.

@13 Thanks or the information. I don't have PS+. What's the game worth in your eyes ?
