Only the most cold-hearted cynic is impervious to the charms of TT Games' massively successful LEGO series, and only a po-faced, joyless miser could resist playing as a zombie slaying cheerleader with a chainsaw. What's not to like about plastic superheroes and some uncomplicated undead slaughter? Nothing that's what! So here we have some universally suitable for all Batman action now with Justice League and a liberal dose of gore and misogyny for Suda 51's latest. Is LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes another fine example of LEGO-based video gaming, with all of that compulsive collecting intact or a case of diminishing returns? And is Lollipop Chainsaw a controversial game that doesn't deserve a second look or a sickly sweet sugar-coated candy confection and fun-filled guilty pleasure?
