Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Latest Black Ops II Trailer Goes Behind the Scenes With Trent Reznor and David S. Goyer

Treyarch is really taking Call of Duty to another level for Black Ops II, enlisting Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor as composer for the game's score and Batman Begins, Dark Knight and Blade II writer David S. Goyer to pen the game's script.

In this behind the scenes trailer, Treyarch's Studio Head Mark Lamia and Director Dave Anthony talk about Reznor and Goyer's involvement, before the composer and writer lend a little bit of insight into their roles working on Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Both Reznor and Goyer say they're treating the latest CoD as they would any big blockbuster event movie, which hopefully means a great score and a great story for Black Ops II. Hopefully. Check out the behind the scenes video below, then prepare for Call of Duty: Black Ops II on November 13th, 2012.

I know Reznor has shown interest in doing video game scores before . . . I was just hoping his return to doing video game music would be for one I actually have interest in.

Oh well, still cool. I'll still listen to whatever he conjures up for this game, since he's a great composer! Who knows, maybe this'll help get serious cred and get noticed by other game companies.

Yea, as a huge NIN fan, I feel kind of let down that Trent's doing the soundtrack for a Call of Duty game.

Technically trent reznor is the only member of NiN, the only time there's other people playing the music is during concerts since he couldn't possibly play everything at once

Those of you showing disappointment that a talented musician is involved with COD are pathetic. Seriously, grow up.

@6
I have no problem with CoD. Its not my cup of tea, but more power to its fans.

I grew up idolizing Reznor, and to see him doing music for games is just kinda funny. Not meant as a dig towards CoD.

Calm down. Its supposed to be a joke, Asher.

Decent story + bland gameplay = mediocre game.

CoD4 and WaW were great because the gameplay was new and the stories were well-written. MW2 and MW3 had good stories, too, but the gameplay was the same and became more action-centric. Black Ops's story was more like some cheesy B movie, a crappy plot filled with explosions. Even if you say BO had a good story, the gameplay was still boring; the helicopter flight was just a cheap attempt to make you think it's new or different.

If BOII's story is good, the problem is that the core gameplay is still the same exact thing I played back in 2007, so I won't be too impressed or pulled in. But we all know CoD is all about the MP, or mostly anyways.

All he has to do is copy and paste some songs rite after all that's all this fuckers do with cod anyways , I have more fun shooting at flies with a super sucker than playing this damn over hoped over rated games. If i offended any cod fans I really apologize but i seriously can't give two fucks if i hurt you feelings
