Deadpool Game Coming From High Moon Studios (With Trailer)

More news hot off the presses from Comic-Con, as Activision and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron dev High Moon have announced that a Deadpool game is in the works. Fittingly titled 'Deadpool', the game focuses upon the merc with a mouth himself, which means a lot of gunplay, tongue-in-cheek quips and fourth-wall breaking aplenty.

Rumours were floating around earlier this week that High Moon could be working on a video game adaptation of Marvel's Hit-Monkey, but it could have quite easily been a smokescreen for this. Not that we're complaining mind, as we've been fans of the comic books for some time.

Check out the trailer for the Deadpool game below. It looks like High Moon has nailed the character with his uniquely unhinged style and own brand of one-liners. There's no platforms yet confirmed for the game, but it's a safe bet to say Deadpool will be console bound. There's no release date yet either. We'll be keeping our eye on this one...

LOL Nice video. I liked the Deadpool comic books back in the days. Haven't picked up a comic book since 1999, but this game looks like something I would play.

I really hope they do this right and they dont push out a huge piece of sh#t, The Deadpool movie is due out 2013 so hoping this aint another crap movie game.

@8 Well Nolan North did do his voice in Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions so yes I'm pretty sure it's him.

Oh and this looks sweet, definitely one to watch!

Ok anyone with issues with this is just plain stupid of uneducated because honestly he is acting just like he does in the comics. Im extremely glad they choose nolan north to do the voice he did such a good job in Hulk Vs Wolverine. Day one buy for me.

Looks ridiculous. And not in a good way. Was the dialogue written by a four year-old?

The great thing is even if this was a movie tie in look at the quality of the amazing spider-man it is a movie tie in but it was amazing. I think the producers are now competing to produce high quality superhero(or supervillain in this case )and high moon studios didn't disappoint with transformers so people don't take their superheros or villains lightly.
