"Square Enix and IO Interactive have released the 17-minute Hitman: Absolution demo" No they didn't. They released a video of it. It isn't on PSN. Stop wording all of your articles with false info, this site is starting to feel like Kotaku. |

@6 "...that we got to play through last month". Don't take a fragment of a sentence to make your point. |

| @7 Yeah, he is saying the demo that they played last month has been released. I didn't take a fragment, I only quoted the important part. Learn2read. |

| @4: And they apparently haven't been to the US, which has changed considerably since the late-50s, early-60s. How did Agent 47 end up on the set of West Side Story? Is this explained somehow? |

@6 It's still a demo as it's a DEMOnstration of Hitman absolution and yes Atreyu a body would stand up if you asked it to. |

| @9 No sir you learn to read - they have released a video of them demonstrating the demo. How does that sound like they're misleading people. Also ever heard of demos released for commercial purposes? What's your nonsense saying well it isn't on PSN so its not released..just when you think the world can't get much thicker.. |

| i'm not really a hitman fan as ive bearly ever played a hitman game but by god... actually smart a.i and the quote of 'quality over quantity' is just by far amazing to me, liek *spoiler alert* when he blew the explosive up and they actually investigated it not knowing where it came from rather than everyone shooting you automatically is just YES! to me :) |

| I gotta say that I love the Hitman series and so far I really like the videos... but it's concerning me that they are showing to much videos about the game... by the time Hitman: Absolution come out at this rate we will already know all the levels from it... |

| @15: Yeah, I decided not to watch the whole video for that reason. I'm already committed to buying it, so no need to spoil it any further for me. First few minutes looked pretty solid, though. Not sure how I feel about the ability to see outlines of everyone in the level -- might make it too easy -- but I'll keep an open mind. |

Noticed something kind of weird... In the final kill with the scissors how did the guy not see him get killed? There was a mirror right in front of him and shoulld have been able to easly see him. Its just somewhat strange that they didnt consider that. |

@16 They say later in the video that you can tweak all those settings like the outlines to make it as pure and realistic as you want |

@12 you realize how stupid you are making yourself sound? "They are demonstrating a demonstration.". Geez, some people. A demo has always been known as a sample of a game that you can play. It has not, nor ever will, be used as a term for a WALKTHROUGH VIDEO. |

| Seriously why all the bitching on here, the headline clearly reads "demo walkthrough". It can't be put any simpler than that |

| @19 Demo stands for demonstration. This video is a demonstration of a level in the game. The existence of the word demonstration predates video games. |

@22 Except, in the video game medium demo refers to an actual playable demo. Everything else is referred to what it actually is, such as a video walkthrough. They even change the "demo" part to video walkthrough in the second paragraph. It's a bad case of wording. |

@18: Thanks, I appreciate that; like I said, I didn't want to watch the whole video for fear of spoilers. The outlines wouldn't necessarily have been a deal-breaker for me, but playing without them would be my preference. @23: Agreed -- news so far, if it can be so called, hasn't been from the most reliable of sources. Hitman Blood Money was the first game I played in the series, and it would be nice to experience #2 and Contracts in HD. |

@26 Since you started with Blood Money, Hitman 2 will require some getting use to the older mechanic, the AI is very strict with what you can do. Like, just running around, even disguised will make the guards suspicious and immediatedly start shooting you. But Hitman 2 has the most missions and you can actually collect weapons from every mission, let say you found a katana in Japan, just finish the mission and you can select in any mission after. Contract, you can its like a remake of the first Hitman since its was only on PC. Its a mix of missions from the first Hitman with small changes and whole new missions. But its was a rushed to help Hitman fans wait longer for Blood Money, you will noticed the sliding animation of Agent 47 when running around. And obviously, the choice in how the kill the target is not as varied as Blood Money but they still great games to play. |
