You know what? It's great. Got a cheap PSN card, Paid for premium with it, even without B2K I'm getting the DLCs substantially cheaper. People raging about it, I understand. It can feel like EA are trying to grease you up for penetration, but the long and short of it is, it's well worth the money, and I spent more on expansions for BattleField 2 back in the day, Why wouldn't I pay zee money now? |

| I have it and think that it was a good idea to make BF3 premium. But when he said that they are going to implement that type of premium feature in future games is where I draw the line. Now if this premium feature was linked to EA/DICE developed games then it would be a Hell of a buy. I can just imagine what this feature will cost to Medal of Honor. With that being said......I think Close Quarters should have been released last. Shouldn't it be EA Premium? |

@10 Umm...cool story, bro? I understand that premium subscription plans like this may save you money, but most people don't want to keep spending money on something they already paid for. The only reason I bought BF3 Premium is because I really like the game and I feel like since my days of actively playing MP are slowly ending, I might as well go big while I still can. If people keep buying into it, then that's great, but I hope companies like EA don't expect millions of people to sign up for such services on every game that applies. |

| We as gamers should be ashamed of ourselves... There's 3 million plus now with either cod elite, or battlefield premium... We basically paid almost as much as the game is worth for some more maps and mini-missions... Let's stop blaming the companies and start blaming ourselves... I myself purchased cod elite and am disappointed with it... Won't buy it again and won't be buying bf premium (I play and enjoy both)... We need to stand up and tell them this is ridiculous by simply not buying it. Period. |

#13 "I myself purchased cod elite and am disappointed with it..." "We as gamers should be ashamed of ourselves" I'm not blaming myself for the fact that people waste their money on stupid crap. By the way. Maybe you should stop blaming gamers as a whole and start blaming yourself. You want to see it change? Start taking personal responsibility. You have no right to preach about how others should feel about this, even more so since you just admitted to contributing toward the problem. |

Also, I don't see battlefield 3 as one your platinum's, while I have it and I still would not cater to this BS that EA is trying to feed us all. Maybe you need to start opening your eyes rather than looking for people to pick on. |

Everyone bitching about CoD Elite and BF Premium: How is this any different than Rockstar's and other's Season Pass? You buy a one-time purchase, get all the coming DLC a little discounted and get some small extra. The only difference I see is the steep price, but that's because the DLC itself is overpriced. |

There are 4 ways you'll end up when you buy this or not, in a scale... 1.Don't pay, only have karkland maps at most 2.Don't pay premium thinking its a scam and ripping yourself off a couple of bucks each time you buy each dlc 3.You buy premium, getting early access, special access to little extras like gun camos that...virtually everyone seems to have now, and saving yourself a few bucks as you go 4.Wait for a complete edition, while the cheapest option you may find some dlc map packs have 0 players on those servers after some time (I see this happening to armoured kill) Not even factoring second hand purchases, but point is if you like bf3 as a game and NOT for the trophies, premium is the best option, if you want trophies stick to the base game and then just run...especially if I'm in a game *throws c4* |

| @27 These things cost the same as the base game. 50$/€ is a huge rip off. Season pass for L.A Noire cost 8,95€ if i remember right, MP3 is about 25 which is a rip off imho as well. For the price this thing costs, you could get PS+ for a year which gives dozens of games for free. |

@36: I still fail to see how the premium services can be considered a rip off. Paying 50 bucks for 75 bucks "worth" of content is anything but dumb. Nearly everyone who purchased it would've bought the DLC anyhow. LA Noire's SP was 10$ vs 12$ DLC-cases (+ some extras), which made it a questionable decision if you already got one of the cases from pre-order. If MP3 gets 30$ DLC, it's also a money saving model - considered you're about to buy all of it. The savings with CoD Elite and Premium are a lot more than this. So why are they frowned upon? It's like a freaking pre-order for DLC. You even get free DLC (thorugh money saved and exclusives) while purchasing it x). You shouldn't damn Premium Models but overpriced DLC, which BTW existed pretty much since "free stuff with your patches" became paid-for-nonesense (looking at you Horse Armor for Oblivion) and bits of story-related things. |

@39 I guess i should have stated that the obscene amount of dlc with huge combined price tag isn't my cup of tea. For example, CoD dlc's are 15€ for few maps and thats it. While GTA IV had dlc's that cost 20€, but had about 20 hours single player in them and a wide variety of completely new multiplayer modes. |

| Listen if 800.000 people bought it theres obviously a market for it so it isn't stupid! The only problem i have with it is it should of been available at launch! I hate the idea of DLC as most devs just throw it in to make more money and its usually crap compared to the main game but DICE usually get it right and they make it feel unique! Close Quarters and Back to Karkand both feel different to the main game which is great! Vietnam for Battlefield Bad Company 2 has to be the best expansion i have seen in a FPS!I think the future of DLC should be season passes available at launch at a discount price or it should come free with special editions of games! |

| @22 i preordered mw3 hardened edition which included cod elite and a few other minor things, along with about 1 million others... it ends up being a "deal" if you buy all 4 map packs separately and thats essentially what bf3 is pushing as well... i'm simply pointing out that i am tired of the nickel and diming of the gaming industry and won't fall for it again... that's why i won't purchase this massive map pack for bf3 or any other future cod's... if $60= 15 each spec ops and survival missions, a sp campaign, and a massive multiplayer experience with around 10 maps... how can $50= about 8 spec ops missions, and about 15 mp maps? bf premium is similar as well... these are not deals... this is a corporation that has inflated their prices and lower them just a little to say "look how we take care of hardcore fans"... if we can't read between the lines were going to start seeing dlc already on disc... oh wait... |

@44 totally agree. At least CoD didn't use online pass to milk second-hand games market and Elite was available before MW3 release. Premium would have been more worth it for me if I hadn't already got Karkland and got bored of this game couple months ago. Also think if you're gonna pay £40 for Premium they could at least offer the Shortcut Kit dlc cheaper too. For anyone who chooses to buy them (I wouldn't but some will) it works out £39.99 game, £31.99 Shortcut Kits bundle, £39.99 for Premium and thats without taking into account buying the mini dlc (Spec Act) that was released prior to the Shortcut Kits. So over £110 for one game? If dlc was priced based on content it'd be lot cheaper. The Shortcut Kits are prime example. Upto £7.99 just to have stuff thats already in the game and adds no value to it beyond the instant access for those unwilling or unable to invest huge amounts of hours to unlock |

| I bought it and like it. No regret. If you think it's a rip-off, don't buy it. Plain ad simple. I agree with the boycott idea, but the problem with that is not enough people would do it to make an impact. It's like cod, just when I thought people were coming around to realize it isn't worth buying the same recycled game, it sold more then ever.. |
