Guardians of Middle-earth is a MOBA, ok? That's a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, a genre that's been rather popular on the PC for quite some time. And now Gotham City Impostors and FEAR dev Monolith is bringing the MOBA to consoles with GoM-e, and today sees the first gameplay trailer for the game. Guardians of Middle-earth pits the forces of good and evil against one another in Tolkien's expansive fantasy universe, which means Gandalf, Legolas, Galadriel and co. will face off against the likes of the dark lord Sauron, Gollum, the Witch-King et al. In the gameplay video, you'll see the characters' range of lore-based abilities, including Sauron's ability to someone the Balrog or Gandalf's summoning of his great eagle.
