Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Tecmo has today confirmed the Collector's Edition content for its scantily-clad fighter Dead or Alive 5, with a host of collectible items and DLC packed into the box. There's also some pervy additional outfits planned as pre-order incentives, in the shape of bunny-style swimsuits for the female fighters.

If you choose to pre-order Dead or Alive 5, you can choose between two exclusive sets of bunny swimsuits for the ladies. There's the 'DOA Angels' pack, which bundles white swimsuits for Kasumi, Lei-Fang and Hitomi or the 'DOA Devils' black swimsuits for Christie, Tine and Ayane.

Meanwhile, the Dead or Alive 5 Collector’s Edition, which will be available in the UK exclusively through CentreSoft bundles the following (more swimsuits!) into a special box:

  • The Dead or Alive 5 game
  • A set of premium swimsuits for the full cast of playable female characters
  • An exclusive hardcover art book detailing the game’s rich imagery
  • CD soundtrack
  • Full-colour poster of the DOA5 cast
  • High-quality embossed metal case packaging

Dead or Alive 5 is out this September. You can read all about it in our hands-on preview from E3, right here. There's currently no image of the Collector's Edition, but Tecmo did release the picture below as a teaser.

@1 Trust me its not the worst game on PS3 for making you feel like a pervert. My brother bought Ar Tonelico Qoga because he thought it was like the Atelier series but its just a game about teenage girls taking their clothes off to power up :/

Excited about DOA5 nevertheless but i think i'll stick to the normal edition. Don't really need any of those extras if you're just playing to kick some ass :)

I wanna get this not because I am a pervert but because this game will be a great fighting game. But being a perv just makes it that much easier

@3: Don't know why you're getting the thumbs down, but I agree -- DOA is a great fighting game, and, really, the only one I can tolerate. Tekken is still as clunky as it was on PS1, for instance.

Don't know what a pervert would get out of DOA anyway -- the game's attempts at being sexy usually come off as more disturbing than anything. You'd think the developers had never handled a breast with all of that spring action they put into the female DOA characters.

I'm a perv and I'm proud of it! The first step to redemption is admitting that you have problem. In this case, being a perv isn't a big problem at all. :-D

I could never understand actually paying money for this. It's like softcore porn with some slapping thrown in. I'd rather go on the internet...

.......Why the Dead or Alive 5 UK & US DLC package is totally different compare with JP, the JP version for normal pre-order package include Kasumi & Ayane "exclusive swimsuit" ONLY but Collector’s Edition besides "exclusive swimsuit", also has a bundle of extra swimsuit DLC which mean "2 swimsuit for Kasumi + Ayane" & the rest of females character just 1 only = =||

Part of me knows I wouldn't enjoy this game since I'm horrible at fighters, but on the other hand... that picture brings up several good reasons to purchase the game.
