Sony has released a companion app for Starhawk, allowing users to access various stats and game-related bits and bobs.

Compatible with iOS and Android devices running Gingerbread or newer, the app lets you view individual player and clan stats, leaderboard info, and weapon and structure data.

Check out the trailer for the app, called Starhawk Uplink, below. It’s free.

It's a nice app, but it doesn't give any more detailed info than what is available in the game's stats. I wish that it did, but oh well.

@ MikeyPooPants,

Because, it is a seperate entity from the game. Meaning it should be able to tap into, and harness the internet. Myhawk is a website that offers a lot more detail then in-game. Even though Warhawk is well more established, and polished then Starhawk's stats, and boards seem to be. I mean it's not running the game, has internet connectivity at it's disposal, it should very well be able to offer more indepth statistics. Including clan management, and both clan/player search functionality, which Starthawk does not provide - well (hope you enjoy inconsistant scrolling, and hiccups).

I wish Myhawk had been able to produce an app, but I mean were talking a five year difference between Warhawk, and Starhawk. Oh, well. I would have enjoyed a relaunch of Warhawk just as much, with an upgraded indepth clan system, and in-game clan battle system. They could have even tweeked the compresion rate of the engine, freeing up memory (five years is a bit of time). Which would have allowed for more character customizations, multiple (originally) add-on vehichles in the same game, and much more. Starhawk is fun, but it is more frustrating then Warhawk ever was. Partly because, of the rotted Warhawk community sub-planting itself right onto Starhawk of course. Rookies never had a chance, and the online pass is hindering re-sell which also means less people willing to take a risk, and purchase it. I can still go out today, and for two/three dollars buy a copy of Warhawk, and have a blast, or give it to someone whom has not enjoyed it.

Hm. Ramble, ramble, ramble.... I talk too much. Duh.
