BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition Outed by BBFC

Looks like 2K is planning a bundled special edition of the first two BioShock games.

The news comes via the British Board of Film Classification, which has listed BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition for a future UK release. Since being spotted, the listing has been pulled.

Apparently, the special edition includes BioShock and BioShock 2, along with all of their respective DLC add-ons.

2K is yet to unveil the collection, but look out for an official announcement soon.

@2 I don't think this is a special edition of Bioshock: Infinite, but a re-release of Bioshock1&2 in one set

As I have both games and the DLC this won't be for me but will be nice for anyone who has yet to play the game provided the pricing is decent since both games can be bought dirt cheap nowadays.

Doesn't BS 1 come free with Infinite for PS3? I guess if you want both with the DLC that would be easier of course :D

... Bioshock was a great game with roots in SystemShock. My only biff? I wanted a sandbox experience. Seriously Bioshock as a sandbox role playing game would have been epic. Exploring every inch of the city from top to bottom, and even maybe outside, between segments, or even below the surface of the mantle. The possibilities abundant, and the various side stories, quest could have been plentiful. Become a plasmid addict, and terrorize the city, and/or become top dog within' as you build your own empire; while vice-versa you could help the citizens slowly reclaim the once glorious city of Rapture, and start a path to setting things right.

Alas... Never happened, and never will. It could have been as great as the original Fallout!

I played Bioshock on PC and thought it was ok, but then again, i hate most games on PC like half life and team fortress as well. i might pick this up so i get the whole series and a better thought of the game

@ Scruffy8642,

SAY WHAT?!?! (@.#")

Sorry there Mc.Scruff, but I think I misheard ya'. Did you just say you disliked Half-life?! Hit the deck everyone I can already hear the nuke fallin'. No, but seriously I know everyone has a difference in taste, but I have never seen anyone just blatantly go around saying all three titles were not liked, or at best "meh". I mean I'm not a TeamFortress hat-crazed wearing looney of a fan, but c'mon; both Bioshock, and Half-life are great games. Aging, but still among the greats worth playing. I won't hype them up on some pedestal like other's will, but yeah. I'm sort of amazed by this. Especially since you played both on PC.

(lol)

If you say you enjoyed Journey I will forever be flabbergasted! Because, I disliked the hell out Journey. So, yeah. I'm just really intrigued now to know how you feel about ThatGameCompanies "Journey".

Oh wow I always wanted to try out these games, but I was afraid that I wouldn't make it in time to clear all the online trophies.

Now I will get it for sure :D

@11, i did enjoy journey, i thought it was a great game unlike no other... nah, its really weird i bought and played most of the best PC games out there, Bioshock, Halflife team fortress, Crysis, Borderlands and i thought they were all meh at best. I bought borderlands for PS3 though and loved it so maybe i just dont like games on PC, thats why im willing to give it another shot. I like games that try to be something else, like journey is so i should like bioshock when i replay it on PS3.

Already have 1 and 2 and some DLC. I suppose the idea is nice to give newcomers to Bioshock the first 2 games. but given it's in a whole different world and every Ps3 owner should have them already anyway I'm not sure :c

I'm still hoping for a proper LE or Ultimate Edition or whatever they'll call it to include something actually useful. Gimme an art book or some little sister doll and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I don't generally like FPS but if these are as good as people say I may have to check them out, I didn't like TPS until I picked up the first Uncharted for a fiver.

Truly a golden, well two golden games. Nothing I've played has truly been like them and they are easily some of the best FPS games to grace the ps3

This sounds great, but with me already owning the first BioShock I think I'll just buy the BioShock 2 ultimate edition on the Playstation Store. Although I ~HIGHLY~ recommend waiting & getting this bundle for ones who have yet to play either BioShock game.
