| It's going to suck just like the film will, I LOVED the first, it was amazing, but Chuck Norris being the washed up old fart he is has managed to bring the rating of the sequel down to PG-13... so that means there's going to be hardly any swearing, very little violence, and if we're lucky we might see a drop of blood... -.-" |

After seeing The Expendables I got enough of action flicks for the rest of my life.
Maybe this game will end up like Quantum of Solace and actually be better than then the shitty movie... maybe.

| It's going to suck. For the simple reason that Expendables really has nothing to do with action at it's heart. Yeah, the premise is a throwback to 80s 'guy action', but the movies are for an audience (including Sly and the rest of the team themselves) who actually remember all of these guys being their heroes and wants to see them all on one screen interacting with each other. It's a concept lost to the digital effects generation. |

That turned out to be an internet-fabricated lie. Stallone already came out (back in Late March) and said that Expendables 2 was "definitely" rated R. |

Some serious doubt about the game, but you guys are so wrong about the movie. I grew up with those dudes, and those dudes will be in the same movie. Loved the first, and I'll love the second. There will be action at its heart and when is blood necesarry?
Only the two seconds between 01:30 and 01:32 made this the actionmovie of the decennium for me. Opinions are subjective, of course. |

I couldn't disagree more.. I love that these old action heroes are still doing shit, other than a handful (Statham, Li) there are no good action heroes these days. I think you'll find that most people above the age of 18 grew up watching these guys.
The game probably won't be great, but i have high hopes for the movie.
Even if it does have a PG-13 rating it'll still be violent the only difference will be that the violence is justified ;). so no killing of innocents or kids, no rape scenes or very little swearing. |

@8 (Again lol) I've just checked and you're right, Stallone did say it's going to be rated R (18 here in the UK), which I guess is good, it's just that he actually confirmed before that it would be going for a PG-13... but if he's changed his mind, told Norris to grow the fuck up, and added in all the stuff I loved about the first, then I'm happy :D
... Nothing I've said has had anything to do with the game lol (Well, the game is based of the film, maybe that counts?) but we don't really know anything about it anyway so yeah... |

I'll keep an eye on this, but as movie tie-in games virtually always suck I shan't hold my breath.
Looking forward to the film though. It'll never be as good as it could be, but it should still be fun to see the guys back together. |
