Oh well that’s a shame. Yesterday’s rumour that Overkill are working on a Left 4 Dead prequel has been denied by Valve. In an interview published today, Chet Faliszek confirmed that Overkill are working on a collaboration with the studio, but it’s not a L4D prequel. “I want to make sure that people don’t think the prequel is coming,” he said. “Those guys [Overkill] are still making Payday: The Heist, we’re still making Left 4 Dead. We’re trying to be a little coy and a little fun because we want the communities to discover the collaboration for themselves.” Yesterday’s rumour claimed that Overkill and Valve were working together on a L4D game that would tell the story of the zombie outbreak. Despite all this, however, some kind of collaboration is in the works. [via PCGamesN]
