E3 2012: The Mega Round-Up - Day Three!

That's it, E3 2012 is over. The announcements have been announced, the trailers have trailed and the disappointments have disappointed.

This then, is the last E3 round-up for the year. Below you'll find a bunch of stuff from Dead Island: Riptide's announcement to a look at the first-party Vita titles of E3 and the "technical issues" blighting The Last Guardian. Just click the links and off you go.

Of course, that's not the end of our E3 content. News will continue to splurge out over the coming days. And then, when Dan and Rich have shaken off their hangovers, the previews and interviews begin. Lots and lots of previews and interviews.

Did you miss Day One? Get it here.

Did you miss Day Zero? Get it here.

Did you miss Day Minus One? Wait, that doesn't work.

I hate to say this (Roll on the negs) - But I am actually a little disappointed with E3 this year - NOT because of lack of next gen announcements etc, but lack of A) new games B) in depth updates on upcoming games - Unless I've missed them somehow :S

The only game/s that sparked curiosity for me were Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell - But neither of those are confirmed for PS3 yet :(
Only 'The Last of Us' had a good showing imo.

Well, at least we have good times ahead to look forward to. Hope Dan and Rich's articles make good reading :) (Though, please take the time to recover from those hangovers first! :P)

@1 I agree. Compared to last year, this E3 just didn't have the excitement of years past. I guess its that "inbetweeny" time for E3.

All the big games got their sequels/releases last year, so we didn't hear much from them. The new consoles will probably be announced next year, so a lot of first party devs are probably busy working on launch titles for the next gen which explained the lack of big announcements this year. There just wasn't much to announce this year. Even the Wii U just seemed extremely disappointing. Only 6 months til launch, and no price announcement? The majority of your games were just ports of already released current gen games? I haven't spoken to one person who was impressed with E3 this year yet.

@1, you dont have to be afraid, if they negative you they do, so be it. Its true, it kinda sucked overall... The big companies are going to continue to drive this business model into the f'ing ground!
