E3 2012: Far Cry 3 Four-Player Co-Op Revealed, Gets PS3-Exclusive DLC

They’ve kept this secret well. On stage at Sony’s E3 presser, Ubisoft has just revealed that Far Cry 3 has a four-player co-op mode.

The mode sees four players teaming up in dedicated co-op missions. Based on the live gameplay demo, the missions are objective-based.

In addition to this it has also been revealed that the game will receive exclusive DLC. No details have been revealed yet.

	My question is, is the co-op online only? Is it through the story at all? Offline at all so you can do split screen with a friend?

	I wish there wasn't MP, but oh well. I can't think the last time there was a new game that came out that was strictly SP (referring to a shooter) :/ . I'm glad Sony is getting aggressive with their game plan, by getting exclusive DLC for us!
