E3 2012: Fresh Assassin's Creed III Footage, Trailer Hits E3

Assassin's Creed III

On stage in their E3 presser, Ubisoft just showed off some gameplay footage and a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed III, all of which was incredibly incredible.

First we had some free-running in the trees, then there was a face-off in the snow between Connor and some wolves, then he was in the middle of a camp accepting missions. A quick conversational cutscene later and he was off on horseback through the snow once more. It was breakneck.

Later, amongst a group of vile English scum, Conner showed off some of his snazzy combat moves, including an awesome Arkham City/Asylum style silent hanging execution.

Then came the mountain climbing, with Conner hoisting himself up a sheer mountain face before making his way up above an enemy encampment. Scanning the area quickly, he unleashed a bomb, blew up a building, caused chaos, killed a load of dudes... and then it was over. Fucking brilliant.

	Loving the gameplay, looks awesome. May actually buy this one. Haven't played an Assassins Creed since AC2.

	This look's like the best AC so far the kill moves were class and the graphics look amazing

	that.... looks freakin' AMAZING. BOTH OF THEM. I seriously can't wait for this to come out, I need it in my hands like, RIGHT NOW!!

	#2 You might want to play through AC:Brotherhood and AC:Revelations before jumping on AC3, though. Rent it, borrow from a friend, whatever. Otherwise, you'll miss some very important story details and be confused. Namely, the death of a major character at the end of Brotherhood, and the big revelation at the end of... cough Revelations...

	Thanks for the E3 trailer. The e-mail Ubisoft sent me links to a youtube video requiring I sign in or create an account to view (Assassin's Creed III E3 Cinematic Trailer [North America]). What's with this need to uniquely identify your fans before allowing them to see your advertising?

	@2 I would just play AC:Revelations its much better and just catch up with what happen on brotherhood but that's my opinion because to me brotherhood was the worst AC game I played the single player was boring run around Rome and do side quest.......And with those dumb MP trophy's I would stay away

	This look so amazing.. Buy it for the release, But still not know which edition it wil be. The big plus is that you can walk and do a lot of things in this wood. Which is 1.5 times bigger than Rome (AC Brotherhood). And than you have also the City's. AC2: 100% AC:Brotherhood 88% AC:Revalations: 100% Hopely the have not a trophy for the 100 % for all mission. Because in Revelations is was very time consuming. But this will be the best game of 2012,

	I watched the first 2 minutes and was waiting for Connor to use the 'Deadeye' ability.... Then I realised this wasn't RDR. Looks fucking amazing though, I've had the Freedom Edition pre-ordered for aaaaaaaaages!
