As remits for open-world RPGs go, Dragon's Dogma's must be among the best. You play The Arisen, a chosen warrior who will save the world from mythical beasts roaming the lands of Gransys. Or something like that. All you need to know is that you're a badass monster slayer with minions called pawns who will lay down their life for you. A western-style RPG with a distinctly Japanese flavour, is Dragon's Dogma a hideous concoction or is it the perfect blend of eastern and western sensibilities? Could we be looking at a cult hit or a game that's just a bit, well... rubbish? You know the score, people. | |
