| Those screens aren't good at all. Looks like they've moved even further away from the horror of the first game, unfortunately. |

I wonder if this confirms co-op ??? They are really watering this series down on every release No.1 is still the best for horror style out the current 2 but I did very much like no.2 but it felt like a bit movie style play out shall I say. They should scrap Multi player and concentrate on SP and push the game to the use the both consoles advantages |

| This looks like screens from a CG trailer that will most likely play at E3. Looking forward to actually seeing some gameplay as well! |

| @#2 right because you can tell from a screenshot if there is horror or not. |

| Why does this look like Lost Planet? Keeping an eye on this anyway. Hopefully going back to more horror then action. Would be awesome for co-op aswell. |

| Well,I love the series but i can see they are taking the road of Capcom and adding more action to sell the game.I love horror games and movies but the polls say that horror doesn't sell as it did in the 70's and 80's.As this is why Capcom has done away with complete horror in the Resident evil series.Lets face it people action sells that's why there are more higher grossing action games and movies than any other genre. This is why Tre Arch (activision) has added zombies to Cod because they know horror alone won't sell as much unless you add that action element to it.I just hope the campaign is long and complete and makes me want to come back after i'm done the game. |

| I'm still not convinced about this, I will need to see some actual gameplay footage before I make my mind up. |

There is no such thing as Co-Op and Horror. I don't find Dead Space scary at all, enjoy them for the story and everything else, but i don't buy them to be scared so the add of co-op is fine with me because im not gunna lose anything (unlike when they did it to Resi 5 and ruined everything) You wanna be really scared, play any Fatal Frame/Project Zero games. Theres needs to be a Fatal Frame 5 for PS3 at E3 2012!!!! That would make my expo :D |

| The first one was scary, the second one was too predictable but fun. What already ruined this game for me was the "shoot from cover mode." I need to see some gameplay, but I'll still end up playing it in the long run, it's ruined piles like this that make us need the used gaming market. |

Survival horror + coop = EPIC FAIL Why copying the most horrible thing from Resident Evil last games? |

If anything Dead Space was more about screwing with the player mentally mixed in with some jump scares every so often. I wouldn't really call it Horror survival but more of survival with some minor horror (and gore) elements thrown in. I hope that this works out well and that the co-op can be implemented locally and online if possible. There is nothing like real life co-op with friends. I hope that the story is good cuz I just wanna get mind f*cked by it like I did with the rest of the Dead Space games. |

It seems the video game industry is hellbent on ruining every good franchise, with every other once-original series ripping off anything deemed "successful". The worst thing is that most of these franchises were THE pioneers back in the late 90s. I had high hopes for Tomb Raider, but they turned it into a female-centric Uncharted sequel if the latest trailer is anything to go by. And now Dead Space is adopting the horror-game-with-coop gimmick (an abortion popularized by the recent Resident Evil games, which suffered heavily as a result of the gimmick). Sad to say that another horror series bites the dust. Fingers crossed that Dead Space 3 (my most anticipated title before this mess) ends up staying true to it's classic horror formula, but it doesn't look like EA is gonna do the right thing. But does it ever? |
