First Dead Space 3 Screenshot Emerges

What would appear to be the first screenshot from Dead Space 3 has appeared, showing Isaac Clarke (?) in his trademark armour in orbit (!) around a planet’s surface.

It’s possible the image was taken from EA’s official site, which is currently showing a countdown in the game’s odd alien language. Translated they point to EA’s E3 2012 conference, scheduled for 1pm PST on Monday.

Yesterday the site also began teasing a Dead Space animated short, thought to tie in with the game.

If leaks are to believed we already know a bit about the game. Set on a frozen planet, the game is rumoured to feature co-op with an alter-ego born from Clarke’s increasingly fractured mental state. It’s also one of our most anticipated announcements of E3 this year. Yay!

	It seems that Dead Space 3 will make the opening for EA conference this year.

	Really hope they are taking it back to Dead Space 1. More horror, less action.

	@ 3 yeah me too! Although I thought ds2 was the better game overall, it just wasn't anywhere near as scary as the first and the atmosphere was lacking a little.

	I agree that they should add more horror, making it more like the first game, but if DS3 is anything like either of the first two games then we can be confident that it's still gonna be a great game. Looking forward to this.

	I'm looking forward to DS3. I just hope they don't add multiplayer. As multiplayer takes away from the main story as did the second game.I love DS2 but the story was a bit lacking what the first DS had and that's due to multiplayer the players need to understand that adding multiplayer takes away development from the main goal a good story.And please don't turn DS into a FPS.I like FPS's but the gaming markets are flooded with them it seem the devs these days take that rout because of COD's success. We really need more creativity these days of the current gen or it will go down hill in years to come.
