New God of War III Shots Are Like, Totally Epic

The more we see of Kratos' PS3 debut, the more and more excited we become. So far we've seen the fearsome Spartan battle numerous skeletal foes and discovered that he'll also be fighting Hades, presumably in the bowels of hell, since that's his neck of the woods.

This fresh batch of shots show Kratos scrapping with an enormous moss-covered rock man, which is currently looking like some crazy twist on Shadow of the Colossus' immense fights with lumbering stone giants.

Or maybe the level just takes place on the stony fella's back. It's hard to tell, and we naturally assume that Kratos will end up caving his big, fat sedimentary (or is he igneous?) face in.

I'm pretty sure that's Gaia, isn't it? Who is a girl, too. Either way I'm betting she'll be dead by the end of the game.

Gaia will die in the end? I don't think! she is side on Kratos-- so are others titans-- to kick some gods' asses!! I ll bet Kratos will die in the end-- once he gone into heaven, so he can see his family again...

i've never played the first or second but when i played the demo from district 9, it blew my mind. I will buy the god of war collection before i buy this obviously. Good chance at game of the year along with bad company 2 and bioshock

Can't wait this game is EPIC. I'm waiting for it but it's getting tough. I thought Ao2 would hold me over til heavy rain then GOW. But that's not working. These screen shits make me want to buy the collectors edition. Money well spent. Didn't play much of 1n2 but I watched but this is day one. If there is a midnight release I'm will be there.

For those that have never played GoW (for shame!) going with the GoWC is a great way to go. Santa Monica went all out and didn't even charge full price for two incredibly awesome games that rank among the best action games to date.

At any rate, I can't wait for this... MGS4, KZ2, U2 and now this, among others. It just doesn't get any better.

yup this and ff13 i have been waiting for big time. anyone who as not played the first two go and buy now it blow your mind. gow 2 if u put that on the ps3 when it first come out u would of thought it was a ps3 3 game.

Traded in my original GOW PS2 games for the collection! Gotta bring Kratos up to speed on the PS3 in all his butt kicking glory!! Cant wait, pre-ordered the Pandora's Box special edition!!

This game looks amazing, I only had the pleasure of playing god of war 1 & 2 recently on my PS3 because I imported a copy of the GOW collection, and they are great, look great too, so I cant wait for number 3. I still have the GOW3 demo code from the collection sat here but its useless as I don't have a US account.

Very excited for this one. I was a GOW virgin until I started playing the GOW:Collection in January. Now I'm hooked. Great game, and story.

Like many others I had heard of GOW on the PS2 but never got around to playing it. GOW Collection let me play both of them with trophies and let me try the demo for GOW3. Let me just say that I don't think I have ever been more blown away from a demo. There is a reason this game has so much hype!
