The links are both dead.
I will definitely pick this up. Most people I know had fun with the game and the biggest problems should be patched by now - hopefully.
And hey, there is worse DLC out there ;) |

| I disagree, I thought that the game was amazing... Granted, I did buy it a month ago and most of the launch-era glitches have been corrected. |

Loved the game first 2 playthroughs, unfortunately glitches made me play this game through 3x and i just hated it after that.

@7 The problem is that there is no official Game of the Year. At least, there's no one agency that's industry-recognized as having the right to bestow the GOTY titles (there are no game Oscars).
What this means is that almost anyone is allowed to make a GOTY edition, and justify it something like this: "Well, we only made one game that year, so it's the Game of the Year!" |

"GOTY" is nowadays just another term for Gold Edition, Complete Edition, Ultimate Edition, or whatever these have been called before.
On another note, there are more than one GOTY-Awards out there, nearly every magazine and website has one and Dead Island was actually the best First Person Role Playing Zombie Survival Game (or FPRPZSG - and yes, I just made that up) in 2011 :P |

| I bet they created their own game review company in 5 min and gave themselves the GOTY. Not that it's that bad, but which freaking company could give them the GOTY over games like Uncharted 3, Portal 2, Battlefield 3, Dead Space 2 & Skyrim? -_- |

I don't get why everyone hates this game so much. Sure it had it's glitches, but overall it was a great game.
That said, I'm still not sure if I'll get this. I still have the game and the Bloodbath Arena, but I didn't buy the Ryder White campaign because of the lack of trophies.
If it's cheap, and the DLC is on the disc, I'll sell my original copy and buy this. |

Seriously... just shut up. We get it... you don't think it deserves to be called that. You and a thousand other people have already raised that same concern. |

| @12 I did not encounter problems that made it unplayable (It can be improved a lot though) This is my personal opinion: The game for trophy hunters is worth at least 25 hours (Because of Rootin Tootin Rootin) Other than that, fun game, interesting direction, somewhat hard to understand story but once you get the grip of it, the Ryder White DLC will close a LOT of doubts and makes the story even better. I really think that the game just needs some polishing in gameplay and multiplayer. Other than that, the game is awesome and it is at least in the "Good" game category. |

| They should just lower the price on the dlc. They have the money to waste though! They took mine and didn't give me the dlc free with my preorder. All I can do is laugh at this and also laugh at those who think L4D is still better. |

In that case you've been, very, very, lucky. By the time I finally got the 100% for this, the Online was completely broken and didn't work. In two weeks I got into maybe 5 games, all the other times I couldn't even get the Online menu to appear, it just sat there, eventually errored and kicked me out. |
