| I know Bungie have never worked with the PS3 before, but making us wait an extra year is ridiculous, and probably not worth it. |

| The title 'Destiny' is really lame. Invokes images of cheap perfume and trashy romance novels, not sci-fi shooters. |

@5 By that regard, the title 'Halo' sounds like a game filled with angels prancing around a flower laden field. And 'Uncharted' sounds like a National Geographic title. Never judge a book by its title. |

@6 I agree, don't judge a book by it's title/cover. I'm judging this by the fact that they are making the PS3 wait a year, which by then the PS4 should have been announced for a 2014 holiday release. And on top of that I don't think Bungie has ever programmed for the PS3, which probably means the game will turn out like crap (i.e. ME3 and Skyrim). |

@7 that two games are probably the worst example of trying to call a company shit considering they are from two of the biggest franchises out there and are very much sought after. I agree with the dont judge a book by its cover statement but I think the part of this that is killing it for me is: "which suggests that Destiny is heavily MMO-influenced" I think a MMO is a total waste of energy, and it is hardly helping bring back the single player game play that I look for in titles now a days since everything NEEDs a multiplayer all of a sudden |

So after breaking free of the shackles of MS, Bungie's first game will be a 360 exclusive for 12 months and the second will lead on the 720. Well done Activision you've once again shown yourself to be MS' bitch (but no doubt well paid for the service). PS Other reports of this story also mention a Marathon sequel to be released at some point. |

| Meh, sorry Bungie but you can keep it; save your efforts for fighting Activision when you put a foot out of line and Kotick "does an IW" on you... I give you two years before you a simply another throwaway Activision studio. |

yeah not worth getting if they are going to make us wait a year and charge us the same price for the game that they charged 360 owners when it launched. Plus same dlc price It's like bioshock and mass effect 2 all over again. Granted mass effect 2 had all the dlc bundled in the game so that made that one really worth it and all we got for paying the $59.99 for bioshock was nothing but they did decide to do that dlc that wasnt on the 360, So a win/lose deal. |

I hate how smug Bungie are with this game. It pisses me off so much, they've already said that their making a four game series with DLC as if because of their success with Halo we're suppose to come running and just throw money at them. Then they actually have the guts to delay this on PS3/PS4 just for a few more bucks from Microsoft and let's not forget the "mix of packaged goods, subscriptions, downloadable content, value-added services and micro-transactions". If only I could hate this game more. |

| I would have considered this game if it were not delayed on PS3, I certainly won't be looking at it anytime soon. I love Halo so I've got respect for Bungie, I just hate Activision and Microsoft. Timed-exclusives are just irksome, Xbox 360 gets at least a month for some DLC and the best we get is a week -___- |

Will check up on it just incase, but I played the first two halo games on a friends xbox and found them to be quite boring and have a crappy story, even found the multiplayer stuff to suck. But yeah if it is anything like halo, big big pass for me. |

| Logically PS3 users should be getting all the DLC released during the wait for free, included on the disc, but its probably not likely in a era where money means everything for game companies and fan service is dead. |

| Whats with this timed-exclusive BS! Would M$ and Acti ever get out of each others arses! Makes me sick that they know there eventually gonna release all games for PS3 so y the delay in the 1st place, also they r smug basterds. I admit I was interested @ 1st but then the MMO part killed it for me, just aint for me paying a subscription fee |

@8 I didn't call those companies "shit". I used them as examples of developers who programmed the game for the Xbox and then ported it over to the PS3 which turned the game to crap. ME3 - maybe runs at 20 fps on the PS3 with constant frame drops. Runs at a smooth 30 fps on the Xbox. Skyrim - Even after the latest update Skyrim still locks up the PS3 (I can't go five minutes without it happening). Find me a game from one of Sony's first party developers that has those sort of issues, because I sure as hell can't think of one and I've played pretty much everyone of them. |

| @10 Bungie is not an Activision studio. It's wholly independent but they have a contract whereby Activision will publish the next few games they make. I don't know who will own the rights though. |

Bungie may have never worked on a PS3 before (that we are aware of anyway), but they have worked on a PS2 back in the day and they are more than qualified to make a amazing game. I wouldn't hold the fact that they were the spotlight of of so many Xbox fanboy's rants hold this against them. I'm happy to see them out of the arms of MS and free to go multiplatform again. |

@19 You're right, games designed from first-party or second-party companies for PS3 are often some of the best running games you'll find, speaking specs wise. The reason being is because of the difficulty in specializing with the Cell BE CPU in the PS3; if a dev is only working with PS3, then all their time is going into working with the Cell and making a great game. This is different for multiplatform games, as devs will spend the most of their time working with the lowest common denominator, Xbox 360, then port to the other platforms. Porting is easier for PC/360 since they share similar components, but the Cell does not work as a standard CPU would. So multiplatform ports are often crap on the PS3 because devs spent all their time working with the 360 instead of working with each console individually. This is also why Sony is likely to use more PC-standard architecture for PS4 Orbis, as to eliminate the 'lazy dev' methods of this generation. |

@19 Well we've yet to see a game developed by a company that usually develops exclusively to the PS3 maybe when Fuse comes out we can see the difference (I still maintain that I liked Fuse before it was changed to comply with EA's terrible imagination) |
