Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Pilfering on PS Vita

Sony and developer Sanzaru Games have today confirmed that Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be getting a PS Vita version that will be releasing on the same day as the PlayStation 3 version. Furthermore, Sly's love interest, Carmelita will be making a comeback, with the titular raccoon feigning amnesia to win her affections.

Picking up where Sly 3 left off, Carmelita will join Sly and co. on his ride through time, and she'll be playable too. More detailed and expressive than before, Carmelita's playable sections will also have improved shooter mechanics, with a precise over-the-shoulder aiming system.

Meanwhile, the PS Vita version of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will have the same content as its PS3 counterpart, but with unique rear and front touch controls, as well as motion controls. There'll also be a cross-platform save feature meaning you can continue playing the same game between your PS3 and PS Vita using the cloud.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be out this autumn on both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

AMAZING news. I love Sly and love my vita. Although if it's 3D enabled I may have to pick up the console version instead ;).

Yes indeed, i've platinate the 3 games and loved, and if it's for vita i could take the game everytime and anywhere that i want, great news for us.

Hopefully, they announce a sort of discount if you buy both at once, like with MLB The Show. Otherwise, great news!

I'm thinking that they're sticking with her Sly 3 voice. That's just my guess, though, as they haven't listed her voice actor yet, at least not on IMDB.

saves carry over? maybe like motorstorm rc? buy the vita version, plat it, then rent or borrow ps3 version for insta-plat! also, i like vita and its a welcome announcement, but i much prefer to play games on ps3. need exclusive vita games.

I'm excited for this, I can't believe I missed the Sly trilogy on PS2, The collection was some of the most fun I've had with my PS3.

Looking forward to this, am hoping that there is a buy one - get the other version free. I will get this game, but I'm not buying it twice. If they manage the cross platform play well - this game could be a massive success at retail.

cant wait for this. loved sly 1. got all 3 plats, but sadly 2 and 3 got a bit stale towards the end. hope it plays more like the original.

I'm buying Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time no matter what, whether it comes in a bundle or not, hopefully it comes in a bundle for the PS3 & VITA w/ a discount. I have the sly collection hopefully eventually there's a sly collection w/ all four games bundled into one can't wait for SLY 4!
