DiRT Showdown Delayed in North America

Looks like North America will have to wait to get its hands on DiRT Showdown. Codemasters has announced that the game has been delayed. Previously slated for release on May 29th, the wheel-spinning spin-off is now expect two weeks later, on June 15th.

According to the statement, Codies came to the decision alongside Warner Bros in order to give the game a "clearer release window." Presumably this means that they want to avoid E3 when everyone will be frothing at the mouth for newer, shinier stuff.

Europe, meanwhile, remains unaffected. They’ll be able to pick the game up on May 24th.

	That's actually a worse date for me since ill be getting Lollipop Chainsaw that week. I understand it but ill probably end up waiting to pick up my copy then since this was supposed to hold me over until Lollipop.

	Bummer :( Was looking forward to this. I was going to pick it up at launch, but I may wait as there will now be a three week online head start for those in the EU regions which will certainly make online matches more frustrating. May just as well wait until the price drop now.

	IMO, a week after E3 is worse than a week before E3. I kinda agree with #2 as well, EU players will take advantage of the head start. Now I'll just wait for it to be 30-40 in August or so.

	Good news. I pre ordered even though ill be climbing Kilimanjaro bc amazon has it for 49 with credit. Now it will be delivered the day I get back! Perfect!
