Crysis 3 Screenshots Emerge From the Undergrowth

Showcasing more of Crysis 3's stunning jungle environment, set beneath one of the game's seven different Nanodromes, this latest set of screenshots sees Prophet on the hunt for Ceph and Cell operatives with his composite bow. And boy, do they look purdy.

In Crysis 3, you'll be resuming your role as Prophet, visiting the New York Liberty Dome in the year 2047, embarking upon a mission of revenge against the nefarious Cell Corporation who've built the seven Nanodromes as an underhand method of grabbing land, under the pretence that it's for the good of the population. What's left of it.

Facing the last remnants of the Ceph and an army of Cell troops, engaging in the hunt through the jungle is the central premise in Crysis 3, which is set to release in spring 2013. You can read our first impressions of Crysis 3 here, then check out our video interview with Crytek's Rasmus Højengaard here. Oh, and check out all five new screens below.

Im not sure if Crytek will let me look at these images since they are also preowned by them before they got here.
Irony is that I just bought Crysis 2 Nano Edition off my mate the day that they announced they are opposed to preowned games.... so, should I give it back? LOL

What happened to the days of enjoying games for what they are, and not trying to get involved in the business aspect of a gaming company? It's a terrible economy, and they are trying to stay above the red. It's simple business for them to beat their threats.

Man these look good....too bad I won't be getting the game. Crytek lost my business thanks to their support of the used video game block on the new consoles.

@8 I do miss those days, but those days are done when they company's are screwing us over because of their business battle with other businesses. I have a simple solution here instead of the used game block. Just have the game company's strike a deal with the used game company's for a little bit of the profit off a used game.....That's what they were suppose to do to help fight the online pass codes. It's win for the game company's because they now get a portion of the used game sale, used game company's get to stay in business and us people who support both company's entirely won't be getting bled dry.

@8 Easy solution to get out of the "red" ... make better games lol.

@10 Developers dont deserve to get a portion from used game sales! Its just wrong. Do we even fully own the game when we buy it new? I've got a stack of at least 20 games i got used and would never of even considered getting them new! I seldomly buy used games that need online codes and i will continue to not support these money grabbing whores putting smaller gaming stores out of business!

@13
No but the site posted them. This site gets a lot of redirects from other outlets coming here so it's good to show who originally found/posted the story.

I feel out of the loop. What did the people who made this game... Crytek I think? ... do to make people not want to buy this? I guess I haven't paid too much attention to Crysis news, but now I'm interested to know the details..

IGN had the same screenshots from last time with their own watermark stamped on there. Oh and the post was after the post here. Watermarks are kind of pointless seeing a that happens quite a bit. That or IGN doesn't give a shit and just does what they want.

I'll wait 6 month after this game is released and then think about buying for $20 used. I learnt my lesson with Crysis2. It might be a great game but why take chances, right?
