We lost hours on end to Warhawk when we first got our PlayStation 3s back in 2007, fully absorbed in its multiplayer web, jumping in and out of jeeps, into Hawks, dogfighting, landing and shooting. It was great fun. Spiritual sequel Starhawk is here, picking up where the last game left off, except now there's a single-player campaign with a story and everything, and you can indulge your Transformers fantasies with the new transforming Hawks, that can walk, stomp and fly. Amazing. But here's the burning question: is Starhawk more than the sum of its parts or does it just crash and burn? | |
